Dan took one of the facial wipes he had and handed it to her. "Wipe your face with that," he instructed and began pulling out colors. Once she had done as instructed, he waited for her face to dry, which didn't take long, and with white face paint bagan outlining her eyes and the feathers he envisioned around them. He worked quietly, concentrating fully on his task and tried to make sure the colors blended well as he mixed in the green and then the yellow. He used the black paint stick to outline the 'feathers' and then added some yellow accents and white highlights. He finished the eyes with glitter and looked her over before he decided it still needed something. He used the same color-scheme on her lips and when he was satisfied he handed her a mirror.
"Does that work?" he asked, pretending he didn't care whether she liked it or not. But he always cared if people liked his artwork, even if it was on a face instead of a traditional canvas.
