"Thank you." She said, proud that her older cousin actually thought she was good. If only they needed more left pitchers in the game, she'd get more pitching time. "He'll be alright. He'll dry off." She shrugged, "Although I kind of wish it was someone I actually wanted to dunk. More fun that way." She laughed. She handed her balls to the kid behind her, and the mom thanked her, gratefully. The kid had missed all three of his own balls and was crying to try again, and the mom said no, she didn't have enough money, which was why Jamie gave him her balls.
She looked around. "Where did she go now?" She asked, not seeing her mom or dad. "I swear, I lose them every time." She rolled her eyes. "Parents need leashes sometimes."
