As James slipped into bed next to his sleeping wife, he replayed the nights events in his head. It had been great to see his friends again, even more so to spend some decent time with Sirius. It was something he felt he hadn't done enough of since Harry's birth, and it was a good feeling to know that they were still the same brothers they always had been.
The mission in itself was for the most part a success, and James planted a chaste kiss on his wife's forehead for her part in making it so. As expected, James and Sirius had come across an area of the castle filled with that much negative emotion, he felt sure they have found the start of what they were looking for.
Deciding with Sirius as a pair that they needed to no more about what they were facing before continuing, the lads contacted Remus and Pete on the floors below and called it for the night, deciding they would contact Albus about their findings and see what the next step was to be.
