Sirius' anger was precisely what Lily was expecting. Though she bit her lip and glanced around to see if anyone was listening in on them, she was glad he wasn't bottling it up. If she had been in his shoes, she would've been just as furious and frustrated with the situation. Lily nodded at Sirius' statement about a connection between Regulus' appearance and the object they were searching for. The timing was just too perfect; it couldn't have been a coincidence.
She had to admit, Lily was relieved when James took charge. Yes, she was more than capable of being a fearless leader in her own right, but nobody could handle Sirius like James could, especially when he was upset. Though it wasn't her assignment, Lily was pleased to be asked to help, especially since she probably would've done anyway since it would keep her from worrying too much. Besides, even though technically she wasn't part of their little group...well, she was Mrs. Prongs.
"No questions, love. I just want to take this moment to remind all of you to be careful, since you can't hear it enough." Lily set one of her hands on her hips and looked at each of them in turn, then added in a long-suffering yet slightly amused tone, "Not that I expect you to listen, especially if the non-careful alternative is much more exciting...but at least try, boys."
