Hey I paid 8 bucks for 6 months of extra user pics a week before the first round expired however my account expired anyway. Is there anyway I can get the user pics since I already paid for them?

I am using google chrome browser current version, when I go to post an entry the Rich Text bar is nowhere to be seen...is this a feature insanejournal has done away with?? thanks in advance.
A couple months ago, I had an issue where safari on my iPhone wouldn't let me log in to my journal. It stopped after a week or so, so I didn't mention it on here. It will take my password and let me leave a comment in public posts, but it takes me back to the login page when I try to log in and doesn't let me access my locked posts or any of my friends' locked posts. It's happening again today, so I wanted to see if you guys knew about it and if you knew how to fix it. Here's what I've tried:
Deleting history Restarting the phone Doing a "soft" reset of the phone Clearing cookies
Outside of that, I'm not really sure what to do. It's not a problem with my service provider, because all other websites and logins work on other sites. I read on your Facebook page that someone else had this problem earlier and you guys suggested that it might be a problem with her provider, but I don't see how it could be. That's all I know. Thank you!
Hi, I am having trouble using this site when I'm mobile! I spend a lot of time here fromy phone, so this is really very inconveniant for me. When I try to log in from my Android, it doesn't let me log in. It doesn't give me any sort of error message, it seems like all it's doing is refreshing the main screen. The login field is still there, and I can't see flocked entries. I cleared my cache, history, saved forms, and attempted again with the same results. I first noticed this problem... maybe two days ago. We're a one computer household, so being able to have mobile access is vital for me.
We have received numerous complaints about this and right now all we can tell is that AT&T is doing something that is breaking the login mechanism for the site.
We are continuing to work on this, but at this time we don't have any answers.
for some reason i can get notifications on other accounts (linked to a different email address but on the same site) but i can't get any notifications for my email address associated with this account or any others on the same email. nothing in the spam folders either, it's just like the messages never existed
Squeaky, I am commenting about what was mentioned prior about journals being deleted. I noticed a few of my journals that I'd actually used/logged in to fairly recently have been purged and that's a bit frustrating and concerning, as I did not receive any notice about them even being deleted in the first place. Is there any way to reverse this because I was actually using them not but a couple of months ago.
From the looks of the Facebook page, those of us this has happened to, we're being told to open a support ticket. And I did that, of course, but it's still frustrating because at least two of the journals that were purged had loads of things that I cannot recover if there's not a way to bring the journals back. I was even thinking about putting paid time on one of them in the near future, too.
I cant get mine back due to the fact someone bought the account I had (even though I had a lot of entries in mine). Now they're letting the account sit with NO entries and I was like...
"ok, my history was put for sale for what? Just to do what it's apparently been doing since I lost internet access due to circumstances beyond my control."
It's probably for the best. All my history gone for... maybe one or two entries - one of them being 'friends only.' All my history wiped away for the price of five dollars. I don't know whats worse - getting out of a life altering car accident or returning to the internet to find out you have to start from scratch.
I'm done with being angry at text based things though between injuries and post traumatic stress disorder -... it's just not worth it for me. I saw my account wiped I was like "F*ck it." I guess what important friends I have are on face book at least.
At least with DeadJournal the accounts stay deleted and purged if un-active until the account owner decided they want to come back to avoid situations such as these.
That's where I'm worried. I want to hold hope things can be recovered, but if they can't and I don't get to renaming my journal right away with what they gave in compensation then what? Or if they can I already renamed it, my stuff is stuck. I don't know what to do but mourn and take what I can from the WayBackMachine and deal. Even though that is so hard to do after three years of a character journal, gone. Everything on it, gone and can't ever get it back. Sigh.
i dont think that its fair that you're just going to delete random journals without notifying the owners. i lost a pretty good journal today without even knowing. i paid a lot of money for it and now it's gone. a little heads up would be nice. now i could never get it back. i wanted to buy a permanent account but now for all of my journals and now i don't know if i want to anymore.
We did not do this intentionally, there was a major error with some code that was supposed to eliminate spam from the site. Please open a support request and we will do what we can to make his right for you.
i just did. it's just really upsetting because i tried logging on tonight and now the journal's gone from me. i was using it. i invested time in that journal too.

just wondering - would it maybe be prodigious if you put a report page on every userinfo? that way when we happen across spam accounts we could click the button, and a volunteer could decide whether or not the account is worthy of deletion. i only ask this because, when clicking on the search tag for random journals, it almost always invariably winds up on a spam journal. and for the generosity you've shown (i really appreciate the tokens and coupons, and i just wanted to say you're doing a wonderful job for all the abuse), i definitely wouldn't mind taking maybe an hour out of my day every now and then to report wayward accounts. anyway, food for thought!
having just picked up this journal last night and fishing out $5 for it, why is it still showing up as 'deleted and purged' when i click on the username itself?

I'm not able to sign onto any of my accounts on my phone anymore, hence the anonymous comment. I've seen many other users with this problem and the support tickets aren't being replied to. Is this going to be fixed in the future at all?
As of this time it's been identified as an AT&T issue. You should be able to sign in while on WiFi, but they are doing something that is blocking the cookies on their Cellular network. We haven't been able to identify what they are doing or what we can do to work around it.
How long does it take to get a code sent to my e-mail once Paypal goes through? I am asking because the debit for a paid account went through my bank several days ago and I still haven't received an activation code.
Still waiting on my support to be answered. I to have the above problem where I bought a rename and never got the rename. Can I please get this matter handled as the money has already been taken from my account.
