Hello we have decided to extend the hours of the first part of the InsaneJournal Holiday Sale. Our 2008 Holiday Sale that will occur on Thursday and Friday November 27-28th, 2008.

We are running the sale in 2 phases.

The first sale will start at 9pm(EST) Thursday, November 27th and end Noon(EST) Friday November 28th.

The prices will be as follows

Insane Userpics: $65
Permanently Insane: $30
1 Year Self-Committed: $20
6 Months Self-Committed: $10
12 Months Extra Userpics: $10
6 Months Extra Userpics: $6
Rename Tokens: $4

Then from Noon(EST) until Midnight(EST) pn November 28th we will have the second part of the sale.

The prices will be as follows

Insane Userpics: $100
Permanently Insane: $50
1 Year Self-Committed: $20
6 Months Self-Committed: $10
12 Months Extra Userpics: $10
6 Months Extra Userpics: $6
Rename Tokens: $4

After midnight Insane Userpics and Permanently Insane Accounts will not be for sale and the rest of the prices will go back to normal.

    It's possible this is covered in an FAQ question I can't seem to find but i was wondering what some of the features were for Pern/Paid accounts.

    are the insane userpics listed for $65 JUST the userpics for the permanent account and are they permanent (as opposed to one year/6 months/etc)?

      it's just the userpics, they're usually $100, and they're permanent because you have to have a permanent account to buy them.

        and the permanent extra userpics already in the payment center are for how long? that's what confused me! because the permanent userpics there are only $10

          they're both permanent, the $100 is for 5,000 permanent userpics. i forget how many userpics the $10 gives you (500, maybe?) and it is a little confusing, i understand!

          Permanent extra userpics is 500 userpics for the life of your account, Insane Userpics is 5000 userpics for the life of your account. Both of these items are only available to permanently insane accounts.

      The Insane Userpics are 5000 userpics for the life of your account. It is only available to accounts that are already Permanently Insane.

    I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't remember the answer.

    If I have a Permanent account with Extra Userpics, can I transfer over Extra Userpics elsewhere if I buy Insane Userpics?

      They will be availble starting at 9pm (EST) tonight and will be availble until midnight (EST) tomorrow night.

    I was throughly psyched about buying a permanent account, but it turns out credit cards are not supported ;___; unfortunately I can't use the other payment methods.

    Just registering my general grief here. (And I stayed up late for this! Thanks to timezone whackiness, it's actually 1am where I live. ;__;)

    Hey, I'm trying to buy a permenant account, but for some reason it's already showing up as 50 dollars. I thought it wasn't supposed to change until noon EST.

    Am I just totally off on my timing, or is IJ messing with me? ^^;

      We do not currently have one planned. We may have another soon depending on the fallout from the LJ layoffs.
