Changed Some Stuff

As you may have noticed, InsaneJournal is loosing users at an alarming rate. To help curb this I have made some changes to the site.

First of all I have eliminated the need for account codes. This will last until the site gets back to a healthy level of users.

Second of all ... this one you will all like. I have converted all users that already had accounts on this site into Early Inmates. See http://www.insanejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=27 for the different account type benefits.

In addition to this I have changed some of the limits of the various account types

Free Patients (those who sign up after today) now get 5 userpics and they can have up to 30 friends.

Early Inmates now get 10 userpics, when your journal is pulled using an RSS feed, the RSS feed will now supply the full text of your journal, and you now have access to http://www.insanejournal.com/friends/popwithfriends.bml which will show you what journals/asylums your friends have listed most often. Now they will be able to have up to 40 friends

Self-Committed accounts now get 15 userpics and 80 friends.

Permanently Insane accounts now get 20 userpics and 225 friends.

Also there are some good things coming down the pike so be prepared from some great new features.

  I'll go around to my other journal sites and promote the no code to try and get the number of users up. (Thanks for changing the accounts to EI's!!)I'll try my best to help if any is needed. Just say the word and I'll help.

  We should look into getting shirts of other promotional stuff made and give them away free with paid accounts. Like a $50 account would get a shirt or hoodie or something, and the lesser accounts get stuff like stickers or mouse pads or something like that... yanno?
