:waves the Gmail flag: I am not getting comment notifications for direct replies to anything in my journal (entries or replies to comments) or for replies to comments I make in other peoples' journals. This started sometime Friday nightish. Thanks for looking into this!

Also yay for notification of downtime. For me it doesn't matter quite so much except if I try to get to anything and can't, but I know friends who post from work and they compose in the web interface. If they're stuck on a browser that doesn't remember the text field...they go to post, get the error for the database being down, and lose the post entirely. They've started composing somewhere else, after this happening a few times, but it's just something that could be avoided with a little advance notification. Also, it's confusing to get an error and not know whether it's something new that should be reported to support, or whether things are just being worked on. So yes, advance notice, even just a quick line, would be awesome.
