Outage Last Night

Sorry about the site being down during the SB last night. I am not 100% sure what caused the outage. One of the webservers had some issues and ended up needing to be rebooted. I think the problem may have been load related, but I was unable to determine that for sure. I will be keeping a close eye on things over the next few days to make sure we aren't hitting capacity again, and if we are I will order another web server asap.

Also, while the site was down, I did take that opportunity to clean the databases to make sure that there weren't any corrupted tables that could have been slowing that part of the site down.

I apologize for the delay in posting this. I will try to be more prompt in the future.

    I was curious what'd happened . . . But I can always be sure you'll get things cleared up quickly, so it's cool.

    Thanks for keeping us informed, Squeaky. Delays be damned, just the fact that you update us all with what is occuring is better than 90% of the journal sites out there. Kudos to you.

    Thank you so much for being so prompt and on top of things! I know I'm not the only one who appreciates it a lot. This is the first outage I've experienced on IJ (I'm a very new user). I kept an eye on the twitter update page and was very pleased to see how quick you were to respond. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the info. :) Having the twitter site available when there are outtages is awesome. Even if we don't know the exact problem, we know you're there and working on it. I think a lot of us appreciate the peace of mind after everything that happened at GJ the Bad Place. :D

    What outage? What delay in letting us know what was going on? As usual I was blissfully unaware of any outage, even though I was logged in several times last night. Simply amazing service from [info]squeaky - as usual.

    Thank you! I always found those "well, we don't know why this is going on..." types of outages to be the most crazy-making. Don't sweat it too much; you probably fixed it with the database-cleaning anyway. :D And you remain the best journal-hoster ever.

    What outage? IJ was down!? Um, I hardly notice anything!!! And I'm on IJ most of the time. Anyway, thank you Squeaky. You always ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!! We love Tweaky!!!!!!!!!
