I'm asking this on behalf of another. They've indicated that they are uncomfortable with purging of old accounts, concerned that say for instance the user of an account has died, or in from a fannish perspective, the user has left fandom, but has left their work in their journal for prosperity. In those instances, if the user is no longer able to be contacted, what happens to the journal in future purges, and is there a way other users are able to ask for it not to happen?
