Okay,

InsaneJournal is now up and running on it's new great and awesome server!! Thank you to EVERYONE for your patience! Please report any errors you are seeing in this post. I will be sitting here online for the next couple of hours just to keep an eye on things!

Note: There is a problem with the site sending email right now. I am working on it. You won't receive notifications for a little while.

Note #2: Email is working, but some providers (i.e. yahoo) seem to be bouncing mail, I am working on that will have it resolved in a day or two.

Note #3: Email to yahoo and google are now working. AOL is blocking us right now. We will, hopefully, have this all resolved soon.

    Finally, I can say it: Yay new sever! :)

    Have you named it yet?

    So far the I haven't detected any bugs etc yet.

    Not really sure why, but 99 comments from this journal were randomly eaten and there doesn't seem to be a way to get them back. It isn't really a big deal, but I wasn't sure if you were aware of maybe some comment eating glitch and thought I'd pass that along. That said, I do really appreciate all you've done for this site and keeping us informed with what's going on. The new server is running brilliantly and I couldn't be happier!

    All I have to say is this: I haven't regretted leaving LJ one minute since I've been here. You gotta love a place that doesn't have ads trying to sell shit I won't ever use or sites I'll never go to. Furthermore, since I migrated here, some of my friends followed me, and I've made new ones as well. It was 15 dollars well spent.

    Yay! Thanks for the brand new fast server, it's awesome! I didn't know where else to ask this (and I saw some other comments about code updates), but have any plans to update the blurb to accept html tags? I found some layout overrides that use it, but can't use it here because the blurb doesn't accept html yet. Any plans on this?

    Again, thank you so much for getting us a bigger server!! You're AWESOME!!!!! And you do a great job on keeping up w/ us IJers. Anyway, I just bought a "permanent account". And making InsaneJournal as my HOME from now on.

    BTW, I wanna ask you some questions. You know I came from Livejournal and still I have "angeldove" there as my account. I've journaled there for 7 years since the year 2000 and so I've made quite a few "close friends" there. However, since I moved here on InsaneJournal, I invited a few of my LJ Friends here to create their OpenID so they can SEE my posts. Someone asked me if she was able to see "my posts" from her LJ Friends page, I said No. You have to go direct to my OpenID, in order to READ me. And so...now I'm wondering... Do you think someday, we'll able to implement that idea? Like if I click my InsaneJournal Friends page, I am able to read ALL my LJ Friends from that Frinds page?

    Sadly, I still have problems with yahoo.
    December 11, I created 4 new journals for a RPG my co-mods and I are moving here from GJ.
    [info]m_mcgee, [info]bloodrelated, [info]adrian_ashes and [info]dragons_heir.
    I never got the email where I have to click for email address validation. I've tried to re-create them to trigger the email. Didn't work.

    Does this mean that they will be deleted once a week has gone by?
    What should I do?
