Userpic issue

I am aware of an issue with userpics. I will get them fixed asap.

9:33pm Edit: This should be fixed now

1:29am Edit: There was an issue with the database that has been resolved. As far as i can tell nothing is lost. Sorry about that.
  • Thank you for your swift attention. :)
  • Thank you !!!
  • That's a fast response, so I'm sure everyone can be patient. :-*
  • That was quick. :D
  • You are made of awesome sauce! Thanks. :)
  • Damn, nine whole minutes to fix it? :o I'm not sure we can stand for such slacking off!

    ;)
  • Woo hoo! Go squeaky! :D
  • Wow, that was fast. You are full of awesome.
  • Wow, you took your sweet time with that, didn't you?
  • Nine minutes? -whistles and claps- Impressive!
  • I've just had the comments disappear from a few of my entries -- the same ones where the icon had reset to my default. Is that also a known issue?

Thanks so much for your dedication to keeping the site going smoothly. ^^
    • There is an issue with database synchronization in the current codebase. We have been looking into it. Though this could have been because of the database issue as nothing was able to be written to the database.
      • Wackily, the comments often reappear if someone reposts to the same thread where the comment disappeared.

But THANK YOU!!!! for fixing things tonight. IJ = LOVE
        • oh, man, yeah -- I remember when that used to happen all the time on LJ.

          *checks*

it doesn't seem to be the same problem that's affecting my journal, though.

Squeaky, what's happened to me is that I have two entries from several days ago -- the 4th and the 6th of August -- that had a few comments on them until last night, and then last night at some point the comments disappeared. Any idea what could have caused that?
  • Loving the IJ repair swiftness.
I recently moved and combined my two livejournals (weren't that large anyway, I'm lazy when it comes to posting) to here, and I gotta say, you're doing an excellent job of this. :D
  • Wow, that was fast - thanks :) I noticed the server issue was of lesser duration this evening, too. I'm impressed at how quickly you respond to issues.
  • I'm noticing that I have comments disappearing from my journal. Is this an issue I should be mentioning?
  • Just thought I'd give you a head's up - I've been having an issue when using Firefox where I can't post to my journal or an asylum with an icon other than my default one - the menu just doesn't come up. I also can't post to an asylum from the "update" page, only from the "My IJ" quick post page.
    • I'm having the same problem. When I'm posting, I can't change my userpic from the default while using firefox; I'm just starting to post in IJ, so I wasn't sure if it was something I was doing or an IJ issue. I can, however, change my userpic when commenting here.
      • THis is a known issue. It has to do with having your password saved and using autofill. Either turn off autofill or have it remember more than one username/password
        • And how would one do that?

I have FireFox remember passwords from many sites. HOwever, what do you mean by "more than one password"?
          • Re: And how would one do that?

Go to Security under Options, and it'll have your password for insanejournal under Show Password - delete it, then log in and click "never for this site" when it offers to remember it for you.
            • Re: And how would one do that?

              Okay

So I guess until this glitch gets fixed, I can have IJ remember me but make sure that FF does not remember my passwords. Admittedly, it is a strange glitch. Thanks for clearing some of it up, hon.

            • Re: And how would one do that?

              awesome, thanks for the tip!
          • Re: And how would one do that?

If you have multiple logins for IJ have it remember all of them, or have it forget the login for IJ. You can post this question to support for further clarifcation.
  • I keep getting :

    HTTP/1.1 100 Continue

    HTTP/1.1 100 Continue

    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
