We have decided on a logo for IJ merchandise. 2 People will be getting credit for it, because one had the idea, the other is doing the actual art. Congrats to you both.

I will release names and the logo as soon as the finished art is done.

Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry. I know it took much longer than we expected, but due to hurricanes and money issues and other unexpected ickiness things kept getting pushed back.

Now.. I'd like to get some input on what kinds of merchandise youd like to see (im pretty sure we did this once before, but i forgot).

    I like the idea of a paper journal, for some odd reason.

      *smile* This site has been pretty much run by the suggestions of its users. You are the ones who end up paying for it (most of it, anyways) so you should have a say in what goes into it.

    I like the idea of paper journals, like [info]aidan said. I don't know if I'd purchase like clothing (hoodies, t-shirts), because I doubt anyone I know face to face would even know what it is.

    I'd also like to suggest wristbands maybe? Just an idea. :)

      Wearing IJ clothing would help promote the website. There's a chance we'll have more visitors and new users signing up.


      Ahhh, wristbands. It's become a fairly popular trend. I wear my poison and gay pride ones a lot. :x

    Ok, seems as though paper journals are going to be a hit. Do you want lined or unlined pages or no preference? Numbered pages or unnumbered pages? Hard bound or soft bound, or should i offer both (there is a large price difference, hard bounds being $15 a book and soft bounds about $10 from the research ive come across so far) Though im sure i can find something cheaper if i contact them personally, rather than just looking through their websites.

      I say:

      1. Lined.
      2. Ummmm, does it matter? I would say unnumbered. Who has a numbered journal, anyway? :P
      3. I would preferably say hard-bound, because hard lasts longer...but both, for those who like a choice!

      1. lined and unlined (for those who draw with their entries, or do research and want to add drawings with their notes)
      2. I say numbered so you can refer to a specific page when writing or referecing.
      3. I think hard cover would be the best bet and best quality due to the fact that journals are suposed to last over a long time and if anyone has had a softcover book they would know that it deffinately does not last long.
