Awhile back, Patreon removed the concept of goals from the site. We previously had set a goal of $750/month to remove ads from the site. We did eventually reach that goal and ads were indeed removed from the site.
That said we've seen a decline over the past few years and with the site move have seen the need to re-implement ads on the site.
We have decided that we will re-implement a goal here without the help of the platform. We are setting that goal at $1000/month (costs of running the site have gone up sharply). We will keep you updated with images like this. This is a current snapshot of where we are.
There are 2 ways to get rid of ads.
1) Purchase a paid account on the site. Paid accounts never see ads while logged in, and ads are not displayed on Paid accounts profile or entry pages.
2) Help get our Patreon funded over our goal line. You can subscribe to monthly rewards to help the site stay above water.
