We have fixed the issues that was causing userpics to get uploaded in the wrong order and to sometimes disappear form the servers. Also we have lifted all of our IP blacklists. This seems as if it was the source of the issue that was causing gmail to not display userpics in comment emails.
  • Thank you Squeaky!
  • Thank you. However, now when we're commenting and we hit the button to see our userpics so that we can choose one, the userpics won't load. I've had to open my userpics in a separate tab, just so I could see which one I was going to use, because they wouldn't load in the pop-up.
  • Thank you.

An issue I've noticed is when making a new custom, there will already be names in the custom group that I've literally just created. It's simple enough to press the button to move them back and it's not really a security issue as custom groups are manual, but it seems like it wouldn't be a good thing in case of an error?
  • i'm not getting any notifications to this journal and this journal alone and my friend with a permanent account is experiencing the same issue where it's limited to those journals. the notifications aren't going to spam or being deleted by gmail, they're just not going anywhere at all. i don't know if we're just lucky or if this is a known issue, but i thought i'd give you a heads up because guessing if i got a comment somewhere makes doing anything extremely difficult
  • is it possible to transfer paid time to another account if you changed usernames?
  • I use a alphanumerical combo for the keywords like cbu0001 cbu0002 and so forth and despite the issue being fixed i'm finding that journalwatcher's Multiple Icon Uploader is still uploading icons in the wrong order. It's not really a huge issue but i do like them being in order so I have a better idea if I've missed uploading anything

is there a problem with the site and security? i went to look up a username and now my browser keeps warning me that this site may not be secure. i have never had this problem before. should i be worried?
    • There is no issue with security. WE have SSL protected .logins. If you are concerned go to https://www.insanejournal.com/login.bml to login. You shouldn't get a warning there.

What you are seeing is a new warning that browser manufactures have put in that causes any login form that its on a non-ssl site gets a warning. Even if that login points to the SSL location.
