So we need to raise some funds to take care of some site bills. To do this we are running a limited time permanently insane and insane user pics sale. We will end this sale when we have the funds that we need. We will keep this post updated on the status of this sale and how we are doing.

Permanently Insane accounts are on sale for $40
Permanent extra user pics are on sale for $25
Insane Userpics are on sale for $100

    why don't you do another purge? huge amount of renames must be sold during those times and we haven't had one in years!

      i second this! there are tons of dormant uns out there that i and my friends would like to get. i know of a large number of other users who would as well.

    Of course the permanently insane account becomes available a week after I buy a 12 month paid account.

      Just so you're aware, if you upgrade an account with paid time remaining to a Permanently Insane account, just open a support request and we'll transfer you're unused paid time to another account of your choosing.

    frankly, this concerns me. the wording of this post makes me wonder if i should start backing up my content. do you have plans for a long term fix of this issue? because as i'm sure you're aware, selling permanent accounts is a one-time purchase, not a renewable source of income.

      This is related to ensuring stability. We are nowhere near closing down. We have used permanent account sales as a means of funding many times int he past. In fact we do it much less that we have before. There are some unexpected one time expenses that we are trying to cover without going into debt (which we have NEVER done as a business).

      You should ALWAYS back up content if you care about it, no matter how stable your platform.

        I was finally able to help out a bit, but I'll second the facebook comments: if you could hold the sale until May, I might be able to get another permanent account. :)
