On Friday, 30 January 2009, I opened a support ticket on IJ where I asked if it was possible for me to get maintainership of the asylum [info]anime_manga, because it was updated last in 2004 and the original maintainer's account had been deleted and purged.
On Sunday, 29 March 2009, this request was granted. At least that's the date heading the following reply: Due to the combination of this journal having no maintainer, being inactive, and only one active member, you have been granted maintainership. Thank you for assisting with InsaneJournal's active community.
Guess when I was notified about this? Yeah, only just about an hour ago, after almost a whole year. *wry*

anime_manga has a new maintainer now. I've started updating the rules and will do a bit more work on the community within the next few days.
