Who: Thor, Steve, Tony, Darcy, & Bucky (open to Angel)
When: 11/28/17
Where: beach in LA
What: getting married
Warnings: TBD (none anticipated though)
Thor was so nervous. He was ready to marry Steve, though. He was wearing a full tux, even though they were doing this on the beach. Thor just wanted to marry Steve, he didn't care where it was. He was by his Jeep, and Darcy was making sure that he looked okay. Thor hadn't done the not seeing the husband before the wedding thing. He hadn't been able to be separated from Steve that long. Thor had insisted on leaving his hair down, so Darcy was fussing over it. It wasn't too windy just yet. She was trying to get it to stay in one place, but Thor had told her it didn't matter. He would have cut it, but he liked Steve pulling on it in amorous activities.
He liked Darcy, she hadn't insisted on calling him or Steve anything that someone would call a grandfather, despite Tony calling Steve "Dad". Although that didn't bother Thor either, he knew that Tony needed a family. And he and Steve, along with his children and Angel, were that family. Thor had made sure that Tony was going to be okay with Bucky being there. He didn't want to have Tony flip out on him. But he had known that Tony would give in for Steve, and he had. Thor was fingering the ring box in his pocket. They hadn't needed a ring bearer. He couldn't wait to put the ring on his finger. Tony was on his way, so Thor was getting even more nervous that he was going to be late. He looked down at Darcy, who was wearing a very fancy 40s style blue evening gown. Her long black hair was up in a curly updo. Thor said, "Darcy, I'm as ready as I will be for this wedding, stop fussing."
Darcy looked up at him. She'd done her best to keep her hair up so it wouldn't get messed up in the wind. She hadn't wanted to do this outside, but she knew it ultimately wasn't her decision. "Look, I know you're nervous because Dad is late, but it's fine. He'll be here. Relax." She told him, but she stopped fussing with his hair. She'd wanted to put a little bit of mousse in it to keep it from blowing all over the place, since she hadn't been able to get him to agree to pull it into a ponytail. "At least you agreed not to wear a bowtie." She said, rolling her eyes.
This was supposed to happen days ago but there'd been some kind of snafu getting the license. Darcy had gotten tired of hearing Tony argue with the person at the courthouse on the phone. Although she'd understood why he'd been angry. She adjusted her dress a bit, she had tried to button it up a bit, she wasn't exactly small in the bosom area. She hadn't wanted to be too slutty. That was for dates. Not her for lack of a better word, grandfathers' wedding.
