Tony & Open
Tony had had to take a tranquilizer to be here, but he was glad that he was. Tony hadn't exactly been in the land of the living the past month or so, and he knew that this was going to be hard. It had also been incredibly hard not to get drunk when he'd learned that he had a daughter. Tony hadn't exactly been surprised, but that didn't mean that he was ready to be a father. Even if he knew he had to step up. She may be an adult but that didn't mean that she didn't still need him.
He was sitting in the corner, he could see the television screen but he was trying not to talk to anyone. Not until his pill had kicked in. Tony had talked to Darcy, and she was supposedly coming today. Tony could see Blondie, who was sitting with Steve, his arm around him, and Tony's brown eyes welled with tears. He didn't even feel like an adult, and he had a daughter he had to get to know. He honestly wasn't mad that her mother had never told him, he hadn't exactly been the best guy at the time to care for kids.
Brushing tears off his cheeks, he tried to focus on the tacos in his lap. He didn't know how he was going to make it through this but he knew that it was Steve's birthday, and he couldn't not be here, as messed up as he was about everything that had been going on.
