Mentioning that wasn't the point didn't seem like a good idea. Cath looked so happy and he didn't want to be the one to damper him by reminding him on how campy the holiday was.
"Just down the way. It's really not that fancy," he offered with a shrug. "I don't think you'd believe me though if I said I just had this laying around my place..." It was some form of truth; it had just been laying hidden under his bed until a few days ago when he got it cleaned. He smiled at the affection, giving Cath's hand a squeeze and hint of a smile.
