Who: Deadpool and Pinkie Pie
When: 01/22/17
Where: Pinkie's
What: talking about the babies
Warnings: NSFW, some nakedness
Wade was still reeling from the news that Pinkie was pregnant. He teleported over to her place, taking in the huge ass castle with a double take. He didn’t know what he was supposed to say. Wade took a deep breath and knocked on the door, he had come straight from killing someone, so he was still in his Deadpool getup. He didn’t think that it mattered whether he was or not. It’s not like he was going to be any less freaked out for this conversation.
“Pinkie, it’s Wade.” He called through the door. It’s not like he was ready for this yet. He wished he was. He hadn’t ever really thought about kids, not after the upbringing he’d had. Wade didn’t know how to handle this. He didn’t want to make her feel bad. That wasn’t his intention. But he was still more freaked out than he’d ever been.
“Just come in, door’s unlocked!” Pinkie shouted, leaning forward to grab another bag to separate between toys for the baby, clothes, and just usual things. At the current moment she had to pretty little dresses, that had a pink and purple deadpool faces on them, and a matching hat for them both.
They’re in front of her, but she had to lean back to hold at her stomach. So much working over the day, hell, she put the two cribs together, along with the double bassinet for when the babies are really young and they stay in the bedroom with her. It’s obvious she’s been crying again. She’d missed him so much.
Everyone around her had been getting married, adopting or having children to herself. And here she had been, 6 months without him.
Wade stepped inside, his eyes widening in his mask. “Um, wow.” Was all he could manage to say. He didn’t know what to say. He knew that this had to be hard on her, since he hadn’t been here. “Um, you really are getting ready for babies.” He said, as if he hadn’t really believed her until then. Wade wished that he could turn back the clock, it wasn’t exactly something that he often regretted. He was of the mind that you shouldn’t have regrets.
“So, um, how are you?” He asked, nervously rubbing the back of his neck. He didn’t move to take off his mask. He should, it’s not as if she hadn’t seen him without it on before. She had. Wade didn’t want to show his real emotions right now. It was fear and he didn’t want her to feel bad for freaking him out. It’s not as if it was her fault she’d gotten pregnant.
“Yeah, had a baby shower today. It was fun. We let the guys come too. Fluttershy kept forgetting by accident that some games were meant for the ‘daddy’.” Leaned forward to fold the clothes before awkwardly standing up. “I’m fine, everything's going as it should. Little girls seems to like being nice to me, since all the stress I’ve been under.”
Pinkie’s not meaning to put any guilt on, it’s just her wanted so badly to go off on him, so she’s just going on. “From the weekly doctor visits, Blood being drawn, ultrasounds more than if a woman had a single baby.” Shifted her way, nearly tripping on a box but she managed herself fairly well. “The morning sickness has sorta ebbed down, but it was terrible. Princess Luna stayed by me when it hit its worst. I attended a wedding. My two friend got married.... I’m jealous of them.” She got a drink and made her way back over. She’s not looking at him.
Wade knew she was trying to make him feel guilty. “I’m sorry I left, okay? I didn’t want you to get hurt. I’m… it’s not that I’m not a commitment guy, I just wasn’t ready to be with someone else that seriously. I was still in love with Vanessa. I wish like hell I hadn’t been. She and I were never going to work out. I know that now.” He knew that none of what he was saying mattered, because Pinkie was hurt. He knew that she couldn’t be reasoned with when she was hurt. Not that he blamed her. He’d just up and left.
“If you hate me, honestly, I don’t blame you. I just left you. It’s my fault. I was a total dick. Not that I’m not all the time as it is.” Wade honestly didn’t expect her to want him back. He wasn’t ready to get married, and the note and the rings were burning a hole in his pocket. He wanted to be ready for that, but he wasn’t. Plus, asking her now when they weren’t even together wasn’t the best idea.
“I’m sorry. I really am.”
“I still love you. I’ve always loved you.” Looked up to him, eyes welling with tears that started to spill out. “I’d never had a special somepony before. I’d always wanted one. I thought you wanted to be that. I want you again.” Pinkie said huffing, having to hold her stomach because it was causing stress.
“I want it to be us against the world. We had so much fun, you made me.. Made me feel like I was important and didn’t have to try to make people happy... I felt like I was just making you happy.” Put her head down, wiping her eyes before rubbing up and down her stomach. “Shh, shh, Wila... Piper. Mommy’s gonna be okay. Don’t have to kick so much.”
Pinkie looked up at him again. “Please still love me. I’ll do anything...”
Wade didn’t know what he was supposed to say to that. He sometimes forgot that she was a former pony. Wade moved to sit next to her on the couch. “It’s not that I don’t love you, Pinkie. I do. I wish that I hadn’t treated you like I did. But I honestly thought I was saving you from being hurt.” He didn’t know how to do this. He didn’t know how to be the good guy. It was new to him.
“I don’t know why you love me, honestly. I’m a dick. I always have been. Not that I can blame that on what I do, because at some point you have to take responsibility for your actions. So, look, I’m not going to let you raise these babies alone. I need more than five seconds to adjust to the idea that I’m going to be a father, but I’m not going to let you do this alone.” He knew that she was expecting him to propose. That he wasn’t ready for.
“And if we’re going to get back together, we can’t rush anything. I’m not ready for a big serious commitment.”
Pinkie’s shoulder dropped at that, her looking away. “Then I don’t know if I can. These babies are a huge commitment I had to make. I could have had an abortion- but I kept them because I wanted at least something of you still.” She said, trying to just calm herself. “And I can’t have you with me, not with this far along, without a commitment...”
Turned her face away. “There’s a guy, he’s a friend. He’s been really helpful with going with me to the doctors.” She doesn’t know what else to sa. All of her words keep going into a blubbering mess. “I need a commitment. To me, to these babies- or I don’t know what I’m going to do... Before seeing the post saying you wanted to know where I was, I wa packing these clothes away for the couple who I might have adopt them.”
Looked down. “Then... kinda. Well... unlike you I can’t come back to life.”
Wade didn’t know what to say to that. “You were going to do what to yourself?!” He didn’t know that he liked her trying to make him feel guilty that she would have committed an act like that if he hadn’t come back. “I can’t stop you if you want to give the babies away. I mean, I would hate that, but if you did that’s not something I can control. I don’t want to try, I’m not one of those guys.”
He didn’t believe this. “But you killing yourself is not okay, Pinkie. I also don’t know that I like you trying to make me feel guilty for that. I’m not responsible for your mental health. I don’t want you to do that to yourself, but you can’t fucking blame me. I hurt you, yes, but that’s not love, that’s obsession.” He tried to keep his tone from getting angry. He knew that that wasn’t going to help anything right now. She wasn’t going to respond to anger.
“I’m sorry, but I’m not ready for a big commitment. I’m just not. I know that you want me to be, but I can’t just wave a wand and magically make me ready.”
“I haven’t been Pinkie or a long time.” She said her eyes hollow this time. “Don’t call me her.” Pinkie shifted, moving back to folding things. “I’m doing what’s in the best interest of her life. She left when you did. It’s easy enough to pretend to be like her.” Looked him straight in the eye. It’s not guilting if it’s the truth. This hasn’t been said one time. You’re not the first person to hear ‘Pinkie’ tell them. “
Pinkie leaned back. “It’s why she’s stuck in the house near the princesses.” Her words matter of fact. To the point. “It’s me saying the commitment. I don’t even know if she demands that. She knows she’s pregnant. But only interaction she has? I through me”
Wade’s eyes rose to his hairline inside his mask. Or rather, where his hairline would have been. “If you’re not Pinkie then who are you?” He asked, he wasn’t sure that he’d ever run across Pinkie having two personalities before. If you’d asked him, he’d have told you that was bullshit. He didn’t think that whomever this personality was really wanted what was best for Pinkie. “Look, you can’t just take over for her like that. It’s her life, and it’s her body. You can’t just decide what’s best for her.” Wade honestly didn’t know why this was even happening, and it was starting to freak him out.
He was doing his best not to show that, he didn’t want to give her cause for getting into a fight with him. “Let me talk to her.”
Pinkie just began giggling. “Well aren’t you just a thing...” She’s was trying to stay in control. “I’m never letting that little sugary shit out. I’ve been in there too long.”
Wade grabbed her shoulders, and shook her. “Pinkie, don’t give in to this shit!” He said, not shaking her too hard, just enough to rattle the other personality. He was still thinking this was like a horror movie or a dream and he was going to wake up at any minute. He didn’t know how to get through to her if this didn’t work.
“Stop!” She started but it was enough. Pinkie’s eyes went wide and that hair poofed up like magic. In an instant a sobbing mess with a grn of a pink haired girl was talking and holding as tight as she could. “SWEETHEART YOU’RE FINALLY BACK. I KNEW YOU’D COME BACK. I JUST KNEW IT.” Pulled away, bouncing a little.
“We are gonna have babies. I named them like us. Wila cause your name starts with a W and Piper because of P in mine!” Lifted her arms above her head.
Wade let out a sigh of relief. “I was starting to get worried.” He still wasn’t sure that he believed in other personalities, but it was hard to explain that if it wasn’t that. Wade knew that there were things that you just couldn’t explain away. He wished that there were. He looked at her, wondering if she had heard any of that.
“That’s really nice names, Pinkie. We need to talk about how we’re going to do this.”
“How we’re gonna do what?” Pinkie asked with a tilt of her head. “We’re gonna live together like we did before and cuddle. Only this time we’ll be working even more together because we’re going to have babies. I’m going to be a mommy. And as long as you’re here and by my side I know I can do this.”
Wade wasn’t sure what to say to that. “I just, I need you to know that I can’t say that I’m ready for a big commitment. I want to be with you, but we can’t just start living together immediately. I’m still your boyfriend but I’m not ready to just jump into this.” Wade wasn’t sure how she was going to take that, and he tried to brace himself for what she was going to say.
Pinkie sighed, she’s obviously sad. But can tell that... things aren’t quite right. Something in the back of her mind was starting. But she refused to say it. “O..okay” her voice cracking a little. This is not how she wanted them being back together. “It’s...fine. You do your stuff. Sleep with whomever you want. I’ll just be here when the mood strike you for..whatever it is we call this.”
She forced down tears. “It’s nice seeing you again. Nice that you’re back. You probably had your reasons for just wanting to leave me. I know I’m not the easiest person to live with.” Stood up, walking to the other side of the room to deal with shifting and moving a few dvds around.
“I just want to know why it was so easy to be all over Vanessa when you showed back up... yet everything here is just... different. “ Looked to him, crying just a little. “I’m sorry I’m not Vanessa. I’m sorry I’m not that pretty girl that you let things happen to you just to try and keep her from getting hurt. “
The more she thought, the more her sadness turned to anger. “...seriously. What the -FUCK- is wrong with me?” Her swearing is a huge deal. “Was it damn impossible for you to just come to me and go ‘hey, I don’t want to have you get hurt, help me be strong’? But no. YOU HAVE TO BE A FUCKING COWARD AND LEAVE. Maybe we shouldn’t get back together. Because like hell should I forgive you. 6 months of us having fun, being together. Was that all goddamn wasted.”
Mood swings sure are fun. She reached to grab at the harder toys in the pile and started throwing him his direction. “You’re a goddamn coward. You act all tough and this high and might smartass man that nothing can touch you. When in reality you’re still like a little boy.” more things thrown. “You can’t commit because you’re afraid you’re going to get hurt, not the other way around. You selfish fucking prick. Did you ever ONCE think to ask me before leaving. Being in a relationship means you talk to each other. You be ope-”
Pinkie had to stop, holding the side of her stomach, falling to the floor without meaning to. This needs to stop happening or she doesn’t know what she’d going to do. All that happens is just her melting into tears .
Wade didn’t stop her from throwing things, he didn’t even move out of the way. “Look, I deserve all of that, okay? I told you, I’m not going to blame you for being pissed, or for not wanting me back. I know that I was a dick. I know that. Just because I own it doesn’t mean that it’s a good excuse.” He didn’t know what he was supposed to say, he knew that what he had done to her wasn’t right. And it wasn’t fair to her if she felt like he’d been comparing her to Vanessa. He hadn’t.
“I wasn’t comparing you to Nessa in my head, okay? I really wasn’t. You and Nessa are two completely different people. She and I weren’t going to work out in the long run. I know that now. I just wasn’t over her when I was with you and I didn’t want you to be hurt. It wasn’t a waste, Pinkie.” His voice was starting to get choked up. He did love her, she might not believe it, and she had totally called it on his bullshit, but he did love her and he did feel guilty that he’d hurt her. It hadn’t been his intention.
When she fell to the floor, he was by her side in seconds. “Don’t cry, okay? I know that this is all my fault. I shouldn’t expect you to forgive me, and I don’t want to sleep with anyone else. I really don’t.” He said, that wasn’t a lie. He didn’t want to sleep with anyone else. If he did, he would have gone and done it.
“I am not ready for marriage, Pinkie. I hate to tell you, but I’m not. You totally called me on my bullshit. But if it makes you feel any better, I do want to try and work things out with you. I do want to see if this is forever. Okay? Please, that has to be enough for now.”
Pinkie nodded, leaning against him. “Not marriage... but don’t let me sleep alone. I wake up to me being in control for a while. Only to remember...to remember.” She grabbed his arm, holding tight, digging nails him. “To remember... nightmares. The laughter. The pain. The bruises.... The pain. They took turns. I...didn’t know what was going on but Pinkamena made me be the one.. Made me...made me.” She started breathing heavy, moving away to pull her sleeves down... then standing to run to the kitchen, grab a knife, and add another line above the others. Above the many small and long scars.
Wade followed her, grabbing the blade away. “No, Pinkie, don’t. If someone hurt you I’ll kill them, okay? You tell me who they are and I’ll destroy them.” He finally took off his hood, letting her look into his eyes. “I love you, Pinkie, and I’m not going to let anyone hurt you ever again. Including yourself.” He kept the knife out of her reach, and reached for a towel to hold to her arm.
Pinkie looked up at him. “They raped me. They told me they were taking me to try cupcake for a wedding that needed planning...” Let him take it and hold her arm. Unsure what exactly to do.
Pulled her arm away and went to grab the first aid kit and went to clean it. Sealing it up with a type of bandage where it was just liquid that dried to keep the wound protected. She had to hold herself, shaking...her hair starting to loose it’s poof.
Wade had assumed that’s what she’d meant, and he was trying to keep his anger in check. “Who was it, baby?” He asked, his hands starting to flex, he needed something to punch. Wade wasn’t going to lose control and hurt Pinkie, that was something he’d never done. He didn’t hit women, especially if they hadn’t hit him first. But the wall might have a hole in it.
“I... can’t remember right now. I think she’s gonna come back. Help me.” Pinkie said, starting to shake, trying so hard to avoid it from happening. “I missed you so much.”
Wade grabbed her, putting his arms around her. “I’m not going to let anything happen to you.” He said, trying to keep his anger at these men at bay. He knew that he couldn’t take it out on her because she didn’t remember. And he had to keep her safe before he could go and punch out walls. “It’s okay, Pinkie, I’m right here, okay? Nothing is going to happen to you.”
The pink haired woman turned so she could push her face to his chest. She’s crying, but hair is back to poofy. She’s needed this. Needed -held-. Needing the feeling of being wanted. “I’m not asking for marriage... that’s if things last. Just please live with me. You... you can have all the space you need. But I can’t take sleeping alone anymore...”
“I’m not going to let you sleep alone, okay?” He said, holding her tightly. Wade didn’t even begin to imagine what that must feel like. He’d had a lot of fucked up shit happen to him, but not like that. He didn’t presume to tell her how to feel. “I need to go and get some stuff if I’m going to live here. Will you be okay for a few minutes?”
Pinkie nodded, pulling away and kissed him on the cheek before wiping her eyes and heading to just lay in the bed. She slipped down to just a little maternity top, and laid down before pulling the blankets up and over her head.
As Wade would be walking out, something came up and bit his heal. If looked down, it was a pygmy crocodile with a purple collar on. The teeth weren’t sharp, actually the teeth weren’t there at all, and claws always trimmed. But still, crocodile... once bitten he let go and scurried up to the bedroom to the bed and around Pinkie’s head,
Wade poked his head into her bedroom. “I promise I’ll only be a few minutes. If something happens you know my cell phone number.” He looked down at the crocodile, glad that she at least had something that looked like it would bite. “Can I bring you anything?” He asked, still not sure how he had lucked out and gotten someone so hot in love with him. Not only that, but she was carrying his babies.
Pinkie let out a noise and reached over her head to pet the crocodile. “...I don’t know. Been so busy I’ve not eaten breakfast or lunch...” And hey the sun is going down. “Food would be nice...” and now getting sleepy. “A thing of lube. I ran out and I need it...for my toys.” Not even registering what that might honestly get him to think about. She was feeling a lot more comfortable. “I love you...”
Wade did his best to hide his smirk. “What kind of lube do you want?” He asked, food was easy enough, he was in the mood for a burger himself. He’d remember to harangue her about not eating later. She was eating for three, she had to remember to eat. “You just tell me what kind you want and your wish is my command.” He said, doing his best to keep the laughter from his voice.
“I love you too.”
Pinkie shifted a little so she can look at him. “You know what food I like... as for the lube... “ Yawned, getting very sleepy. “As for lube... there’s this one that makes things cold and tingly...and it feels good.” With that she’s actually falling asleep. This whole ordeal has made her quite sleepy. Sleepy as hell to be honest.
“Okay. I’ll be back in a few.” He said, he was pretty sure he knew what she was talking about as far as lube went. He figured a nap would do her good but he was waking her up when he got back, so she could eat. If she was going to be carrying his babies, she wasn’t going to go without food.
“I love you.” He said again, and was gone.
Pinkie napped, and napped hard. And for some reason, trusting he was coming back, helped with her not having nightmares. When she was woken up, it was to gentle rubbing at her shoulder. She sat up, letting the blanket fall. When she shifted, her shirt would fall a little to show a tattoo on her right shoulder blade.
And if he looks closer, she has three piercings on her ear... as well as something he’d not expect as she yawned, her tongue pushed out a little to show a candy tongue piercing. “Welcome back”
He swallowed. She had definitely gotten hotter while he was gone, and he hadn’t thought that was possible. “I brought burgers and fries, and chocolate milk shakes.” He said, settling on the bed next to her. He also had the lube, he put the bag it was in on the bedside table. “Let me tell you, those piercings and that tattoo, that’s hot. You got even hotter, and I didn’t think that was possible.”
“Seriously? It’s a tattoo of you on a unicorn! How is that hot. The piercings however.” She stood up and slipped off her clothes so she could get into something better. Once pyjama bottoms found and a top, she bent over to grab a pair of panties and well... something sure is different. In fact. It got awkward while she was asleep, even after months she’s still getting used to it so she reach down and shifted.
Once done she grabbed panties and slipped them on, getting dressed “Food sounds great. I’m starved. Keep forgetting to eat. Napping too much, eating too little.”
Wade licked his lips when he saw the piercing. “Fuck, that’s hot.” He said, laughing when he realized he sounded like some 17 year old sex crazed kid. He gave her a look then. “That not eating thing is gonna stop, I’m telling you right now.” He said, watching her. He didn’t want to sound like a controlling dick, but he wasn’t going to let her get away with not eating.
Pinkie giggled. “I hoped you’d like it...if you came back.” She finished getting dressed and put her poofy hair into a pony tail as best she could and sat back down. Nothing says they can’t eat in bed. First thing she grabs is the milkshake, eagerly drinking.
Wade took a bite of his burger and then said, “You don’t have to tell me anything that you don’t want to. I’m not going to try and force you to talk. But when you’re ready, I do want to hear what happened, and I want to know who did it. I’m going to make those bastards pay. It takes a special kind of dirtbag to do that to a woman.”
“Dirt bags...” *pinkie said. She was going to tell him. She looked up. “As said, they said for cupcakes, so I went. Was led in then it got dark and I was pushed to the ground. Next thing I knew I was picked up and tie onto some kind of medical chair? They each took turns... I was just begging them to not hit my stomach. Do not hit them. They didn’t. But they hit everywhere else.” She’s trying to breath through this.
After drinking some more of the shake, she gripped into the blankets. “They laughed when they got me to bleed... and nothing had ever been in my ass before. That really hurt.” Reach pulled up part of her hair to show a scar. “Getting stabbed in the head isn’t the best thing either.”
She went for her burger, focusing on that before reaching to push a picture at him. Saying the owners of a bakery downtown. Them looking like nice people. But looks can be deceiving.
Growling when she showed him the scar, he said, “Trust me, baby, when I say that they’ll pay for what they did.” Wade had no qualms about killing anyone, least of all people who had raped his girlfriend. That’s why he was a merc. He reached for some fries and stuffed them in his mouth, trying to keep his anger at bay. He didn’t want to spend this time with her angry.
He touched her arm. “It’s okay, I’m here. I’m not going anywhere, no one’s going to hurt you again, okay?” Wade told her, keeping his eyes on hers, he wanted her to know how serious he was. He wasn’t going to let anything happen to her. There was no way she was going to get attacked like that again.
Pinkie nodded, smiling up to him. “I know. I’m safe with you... You and your mutanty handsome looks.” She said, sticking her tongue out at him. There was something she could offer him. Something she could tell, but Pinkie didn’t feel like it was the right thing to say.
“Don’t take that as me making fun of it. I do think you’re sexy.”
He dropped his gaze to his lap. He didn’t know how she could think that. It’s not like he was as handsome as he was before. He looked like a freak. It was the whole reason he’d been trying to kill the guy who’d done this to him. He had believed that he could fix it, and that turned out not to be true. “You can’t think that, I don’t know how anyone could ever think that.”
Pinkie took in her breath and let it out slowly. “I do...but for your sake. What would you do if I’ve been doing task after task to add up to getting a favour from someone who can... while keeping your ability to regenerate... make it so you looked like you did before. As if your mutation of skin had never happened.” She said and swallowed hard. “So many favours... so many tasks because she was annoyed at everyone ‘using’ her abilities. It’s taken nearly the entire time you.. Had left me.. But she can do it”
He looked at her then, not sure what to say. “You think that someone you know can fix this?” Wade asked, it hardly seemed possible, he had gotten used to the idea that it wasn’t. Wade toyed with the blankets on the bed, his gaze going to his lap. “I’d like to believe that. I’ve gotten used to the idea that it’s not going to happen. I’m just going to look this way.” He said, wishing that it was different. He appreciated that she had tried though.
Sitting up, Pinkie tapped a little moon symbol beside her bed. In an instant the woman showed up, flowing hair that sparkled as it moved in the air. Long royalty garb. A crown and wings. “Princess, I want that favour used please..you know which one.”
Luna looked to him, quiet as she waved a hand over him, him glowing a little and he’d feel tingly. After mere seconds, she formed a mirror into his hand. “Look when comfortable. Our debt is done.” And like that she poofed off
Wade wasn’t sure what to think. “She….” He didn’t even know if he remembered her name. He’d only met her a couple of times. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to look just yet, it might be too good to be true. “You didn’t have to do that.” He told her, when he was able to speak again. Wade honestly didn’t know what to say. It was new, having to adjust to the fact that he looked like he’d used to look.
“I can’t…. There’s nothing I can do that’s going to make up for that.”
“I don’t want you to feel like there’s anything you need to repay, Wade.” Rested a hand on his leg. “Simply love me. “ Pinkie said and went to focus on eating. Acting, in hopes of calming him, like this wasn’t huge. Like it wasn’t a massive change to her.
He took a breath, and set the mirror down next to him. Wade wasn’t sure he could look yet. “You’re amazing, you know that?” He asked her, honestly not sure why he was getting so lucky now. His whole life had been shit, and it’s not like he’d really done many good things to give himself good karma. He wished. Wade reached for his burger and took another bite.
“So, when are the babies due?” He asked, desperately needing to change the subject.
Pinkie nodded, figuring he was going to do that. “In May.” Once her burger was done she had him put his down so that she could take his hands and gently place them at either side of her stomach. “Feel... kicking and moving like crazy”
His eyes brushed with tears when he felt the babies kicking. Wade honestly didn’t know how he was going to do this, be a father. Wade had never even entertained the idea of kids, he was too messed up to be a good dad. But he knew that there was no getting out of it now, as much as a part of him might like to. “I can’t believe it.” He said, as the babies were in fact kicking away.
“We can do this. These twins are gonna be the happiest- and able to kick butt better than anyone else’s kids!” Lifted her hands in the air. “And you’re gonna do just fine! I know you will. I mean, there’s this guy who’s a mass murderer who made clones and kills to cannibalise and he’s a good father.”
Wade didn’t know how she knew that he was doubting himself, but he was glad that she had. “I don’t know that I agree with you, but I know that there’s no way I can get out of this. So I’m going to have to learn. Guess I’ll pick up some baby books.” Wade didn’t know what to do with a baby, other than not drop it. He had no clue about any of that kind of thing.
Pinkie’s shoulders dropped. “You want to find a way out of it?” She said with a whimper, starting to tear up again. Again, hormones. “I don’t want you to feel like... we can let them be adopted if...” And to harder crying. She’s not meaning to get like this. Things have just been so difficult on her own.
He reached out and wiped a couple of tears off her cheeks. “I didn’t say I wanted to get out of it. And if I did, it would only be because I have no idea what the hell I’m doing, not because I don’t want to be with you.” He tugged her closer, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. “Don’t cry, okay? I don’t want someone else raising my kids.”
Nodding, she tucked up... only to pull away to put the food to the side. She got them all tucked into under the covers. She’s tired again... but there’s something else and she’s pretty sure they can... so she just forces it out of her brain. “I’m still sleepy...” Like that she’s wrapping her arm over him and resting her eyes.
End.
