Who: Blaine Hummel & OTA
When: 01/15/17
Where: London library
What: filling out college apps
Warnings: None anticipated
Blaine was staked out at a table in one of the massive libraries in London, his table full of college applications. Blaine knew that it was going to be strange to start school for the spring semester, but Blaine had worked so hard to graduate. He was filling out applications for Stanford, Julliard, Oxford, Yale, Ohio State, because he was still a fan, any school that had a good music program. Blaine didn't want to be on the stage like Kurt. He wanted to be a singer. He liked to act, and it was a fun hobby, but it wasn't something he wanted to pursue for a career.
He was working on the Oxford one, listening to his iPod, only one earbud in so he could hear if someone was speaking to him. Blaine didn't want to be that rude guy that couldn't hear anyone if they asked him something. Blaine also had a stack of books about advice for applying to college sitting near him, and one was open, and he was peering at it as he worked on his application for Oxford. Blaine almost hoped he got that one, he knew that Kurt loved living in London. This place was magical and they could teleport anywhere in seconds, but they were married now. He didn't want to be that far away from him all the time. He would hate that. That was why he'd proposed marriage, so they could start their lives together.
It wasn't a secret that he missed Sam, but he had Kurt, Rachel, and Brittany. He wasn't sure what to think about Rachel, she was from so much more in the future than he and Kurt were. She was already 26, and apparently had given birth for him and Kurt back home. Not that he was surprised about that part. He wished they were ready for kids right now, he really wanted one. Blaine loved kids.
He let out an exasperated noise, as he made a mistake on his application and had to backspace. Thank God for computers. Blaine was on the essay and trying to write about the most influential person in his life. He was writing about Kurt's dad. Burt was a great man and Blaine was so glad he could call him his father in law.
