Punctual as Ami tried to be, surprises like the exact timing little princesses chose to enter the world naturally threw things off a bit. If it had been scheduled, somehow, she would have planned her arrival a bit better than she had.
As it was, she'd rushed out as soon as she had gotten the text, and not very much later, she was at Usagi's side, a smile on her face, as she approached her best friend's side, reaching out a hand to touch her, to ensure her she was there and would not leave her for anything now. Symbol glowing on her forehead, Ami concentrated on adding her energy to the others' efforts, taking a moment to marvel at how well Usagi handled this, and how very grown up she suddenly seemed.
"You're doing so well," she urged. "Just a bit more, I know that you can do it."
