Watching Jacob move toward roman, all the anger and annoyance fizzled out of the wolf as he slumped in his chair and crossed his arms. He gave the younger man the briefest of looks before he lowered his head, on the brink of withdrawing into himself. He tried to remember the night where he killed Roman, or so the Upire said and the only thing he could see was him going toward Roman and then waking up in whatever this place was and being rescued by Shay. He would not get violent with him, but he was annoyed enough that it could head in that direction.
He tried not to smirk at the words Roman said, reminding him of days that seemed like forever ago.The kids would be safe and he would not want to destroy the kitchen since he was sure that he would not hear the end of it. Once Roman and Jacob were out of the room, he reached for a soda and downed it one go. You could hear a pin drop for how silent it was.
