Shaun Hastings Knows Too Much For His Own Good (guyfawkes23) wrote in angellogs,
Not for the first time lately, Shaun wondered if Sherr had any real idea who he was dealing with when it came to the brotherhood. He didn't say those words out loud, seeing no need to get involved in any pointless arguments. He did raise an eyebrow at the last thing Sherr said.
"I trust my assassins. From the sentinels to the apprentices, to those who've spoken to those witnesses in addition to me. When they speak, I listen. How does this brotherhood know that you have not shared more? Particularly when the word of three of this group contradicts you? Can you provide proof you haven't revealed anything to hurt this brotherhood in future?"
Shaun sighed, shaking his head a little.
"I would ask what made you think it was all right to share those things, to break the promises you made when you joined us, but as a matter of course, I see that there is very little choice for how we proceed next. There's one thing to be done here, difficult though it is. ""
Shaun hated saying the words, and as mentor, losing anyone hurt. "You've left me no choice, but to call for a vote of No Confidence. You don't share things like you've done with random people off the street. But it's for everyone here to decide. The majority vote wins."
