It was far less about him working with someone else, even a criminal, as it was about him betraying the Brotherhood's secrets. Even the Thea issue, while inappropriate, had been dealt with by removing her from Sherr's supervision. It was that final issue that had been the final nail and, amazingly, Sherr had been the one to nail himself into the coffin in a way.
Shaun's expression was serious as he met Sherr's gaze, and nodded toward the center of the circle of chairs the others had set out for this.
"I am glad to see you did, this time." he answered. "Sit there, if you would. There are things we would like to address, relative to your future in this brotherhood." The others started to flank in at that, the senior members of the brotherhood all taking a place in the circle, while the others, though not required to attend, had been invited and should be arriving within moments.
