The moment before now had been rather decently uneventful. She'd appeared in a park wrapped around a tree, and had managed to find assistance by a woman who thought she were homeless. Despite her tears she kept high hopes that this was either a dream after passing out into slumber moments after her father's passing, or the heavens.
Either way, it would do no good to panic. She had gone in search of comfort and had found this place. It was homely and the woman seemed to understand enough to let her sit back and wait to see what became of the day. they had offered her only tea as of yet and she was quietly sipping to herself when she looked up to see him.
"MARIUS!" She exclaimed and sat up quickly, knocking the salt off the table by accident. She brushed her dress down and held her hands together. Her body swelled with joy... at least until she saw someone in behind them and swallowed hard. "...Éponine? But... Marius said you..."
