"I didn't, until here." Emmett made a face. "It wasn't exactly pleasant. We didn't quite have them in the same way when I was home. It was a LOT more complicated if you really wanted to do it, and..." He shook his head.
"Given what I've heard about your mother, she sounds like the anti-vaccination type. Sort of that belief in your superior immune system or something." Emmett didn't know MUCH about that, only that it was a huge deal for Americans and, yeah...
"I didn't like it, getting a whole lot at once. Got a fever after, since some of that was live. It must've spiraled high cos the next day I wound up face down on the pitch, shaking in a puddle. In two sorts of puddles." He didn't feel like he needed to hide that fact from Roman, though he did consider it fortunate he hadn't seen a seizure go grand mal yet.
"Might not be a bad idea, avoiding them by being something else now." he quipped.
"Though to be fair," Jacob settled a hand carefully on Emmett's unhurt shoulder. "He did have measles since there was no way round preventing them back then. That's probably what started giving Em here trouble. Then of course there was the rest but...all the same, I like the idea a couple shots can prevent some of it. Or make pain fade if you'd rather."
That said, he nodded toward both of them. "Someone with the training'll be in there to get a look. Aedan did steal one of those portable x-rays back when we found Sherr at Abstergo and it's totally re-programmed, so someone'll get a look. Then after..." He considered. "It'll still be fairly early. Breakfast, then some sleep?"
