"Ice cream first is a good sounding idea to me." Bucky grinned.
"Then we won't be too full of popcorn to really like it. Why DOES it seem like there's always room for popcorn after you've eaten other food, but it never works the other way around? And yeah, movies do have snacks mostly. I think some do like, hotdogs now. And there's fancy theaters that serve meals and actual cocktails and Starbucks. Depends on where it is. The local one's a snack kind, mostly. They got ice cream BARS there, but it's not really the same thing. And I think nachos and those big pretzels and hot dogs."
Which all sounded good but...
"NOT as good as fresh ice cream though, so startng there'll be fun."
And that was a question all right.
"If popular culture's to be believed, couples argue about movies to watch. Girls apparently wanna see romantic comedies and romance movies with hot guys, and probably end up crying during them, and men wanna see things blow up while pretty girls stand around and get rescued or kick some guy's ass while they're wearing impossibly tight leather outfits and short skirts. And stiletto heels."
Couldn't forget those.
"Personally, that second thing's not really me. Call me old fashioned but I like, you know, stuff with stories. Dramas, I guess. Or Science Fiction. Maybe History ones. I guess I'm just sort of..." He shrugged. "Kind of nerdy. Or geeky. Not that we had those words then. Actually, did YOU have them? I think I read nerd started in the 50's and geek used to be carnival people..."
