Who: Emmett and Sherr (Scout's there too, but as far as I know, she doesn't talk)
What: Chatting about the assassin issues, and the Jacob apprentice drama
Where: A shopping centre
When: Over the week
Rating: It's these two. I expect cursing and such.
Status: Ongoing, closed to them for now.
Emmett had recovered from the bout of flu fairly well, all things considered. He was still pale, and hadn't been sleeping well, with the requisite circles over his eyes, but he'd been able to go back to school, and had worked himself to the bone, grinding long hours into the night to catch back up to his classes. He'd been nervous about that fact, but had, in fact, managed to work himself ahead of the schedule, so that bit of breathing room was nice.
It meant he'd been given enough time to take an afternoon of studying off. ...And an afternoon of SCHOOL off actually. There'd been a school meeting scheduled for the last class block of the day, and he only had study hall before that, so he'd called in, signed himself out, and was now wandering the shops with Sherr.
He did have a few things he'd needed to buy, in the way of boring essentials from the department stores, but, once that was done, he still had SOME change left over from the notes Jacob had passed him for that venture, and he also had plenty of combined funds left from Christmas and his birthday, since most of the assassin population, apparently feeling bad that he'd spent that weekend at a test prep workshop, had been insanely generous on that note. Or, it was a turning eighteen thing. Either way, he was having a decent time of it, especially since he'd been joined by Sherr. Sure, there was a conversation to be had in this, but along the way...
"D'you mind if we head to the pet boutique here?" He nodded toward Scout, trotting at his heels. "She really likes the biscuits they do up. And I was thinking she could use a nicer collar for when she's not working, and out of harness."
