There was always a first time for everything. First time being on an unfamiliar place, getting used to being on her own in a place without a huge cloud cover to block the sun, the ability to use her magic without fear of being called a freak. And there was the new things that she was getting used to, like learning how to use technology, though she knew it more than Harry did. Plus figuring out money and everything else that Isle didn't have. The big thing was the fact that she and Harry were actually dating now and that had gone better than she could have ever imagined. Whether it was going to the shops to nick things and buy things, or going to a movie or even sitting in the flat and talking for hours, Uma didn't care as long as Harry was by her side. The more he spent time with her, the more constricted her heart felt and grew more each time she spent with Harry. It was an amazing feeling and she never wanted that feeling to end.
Tonight however, the teens were home. Only because it had gotten colder, and Uma wasn't a fan of the cold. There was also the fact she had been feeling under the weather all week and had barely any energy to go to her room, which left Harry to carry her to their room while he laid next to her to keep her from freezing any further than what she was feeling currently. But she didn't want to be cooped up in the bedroom all day so she was wrapped up in a few blankets. The only thing visible was the long aqua and blue hair that reached well past her waist. As she laid on the sofa, her hair tumbled in waves down to the floor. A cup of hot tea sat on the table in front of her, made by Evie who had stopped by to bring some baked goods to the group and wanted Uma to feel better so she had made soup which sat in the kitchen all nice and warm as well as a pot of tea. A groan escaped her as she tried to supress the hacking coughs that resounded in the flat. She could hear Harry upstairs so she buried further in the blankets. Her kitten who she had named Harry bounded into the room and jumped on her and curled up as if to keep her warm while the sea ponies slept soundly. She had not been sick since she was a little girl so she felt weaker than before. She had just closed her eyes when she heard footsteps in the room.
