For Uma, any body of water resembled home to her. Didn't matter where she was, as long as she was near water, she could always count on it to never stir her wrong. She walked along the beach, letting the tide wash on her feet, as it washed up to her as if it were greeting an old friend. The wind blew through her hair, the calming effects making her come alive almost. Sure she had this back home, but this felt different somehow.
Her thoughts were drawn away as she got the sense she was being watched. She didn't know many people, but was always eager to meet more people. Not that she needed new friends, but it always helped.
The voice had her turning and a wide smile spread across her face as she ran towards it, knowing it was Harry. She wore a summer like sea dress and it seemed to flow with her as she leaped into his arms, laughing as he spun her around before setting her down. "Hi Harry!" She said and then walked to the edge where the water met the sand. She bent down onto her knees and stuck out her gloved hand and said a few words. Like magic, the water bent at her will and the sea went quiet. Not that she needed to, but it was fun humoring him. "Aye, we should be able t'swim now." She said and smiled at the others who had decided to join them.
