Thomas was, quite frankly, surprised and pleased at how well things fell into place so far as an interview went. He's sure the work will be different to the sort that he was doing at Downton but that's hardly always a bad thing, and the lady in question...the way she described her situation puts him in mind of Lady Sybil, who he thinks of often, all these years later. She was, after all, his one friend, in the mess of losing Lieutenant Courtenay, and through those dark days, and would have been happy at his recent turn of fourtunes too, and...the point is she'd get along with Ms Moore, he decides, keeping an eye out for the woman from the photo.
When he does find her, he's heading around, giving her a little bow of his head in greeting. "Miss." he greets, waving slightly as he reaches the table. "I trust I'm not TOO late."
