"Rather that," Iomhar's been circulating around a little, since Sebastian's pulled off that knight with braids, and Calum slipped out to handle refills for some of their trays. "It's no an easy path to be on, but it's past us all just now. You know I'm that relieved you're here now, but if it takes some help adjusting, there's no shame in that."
He'd caught the tail end of the conversation, and the fact that there's tension now, which seems a little weird, like there's more than he's getting, but it's not something to go bothering Tony with right now, when he's already made a good effort at helping explain earlier things, from what Calum had mentioned.
He's giving Tony a grateful smile actually, for that part, since it's what matters more to him all the same.
"Aye, well." Meghan takes a breath and nods, then turns to Tony. "Thank you, for explaining. And that may not be so bad, the way you helped describe it. I did live through Starkhaven's least successful prince's reign. I'd suppose that counts for something big enough to talk about in terms of adjusting to the differences."
"...Aye, right." Iomhar's clearly going for the version of the phrase that means you can't believe what someone's said or think they're just a little mad, or something. It's the one most people use on him a lot.
"Erhm, why don't you go see how Aedan and his friend are doing? Noah said Officer Pat was going to see what's happening with his team and head over with details, but in the meantime, you're good at keeping people calm."
"Not half so good as he is, but..." Meghan's standing now, and brushing off her skirt, giving Tony a little bob of her head in acknowledgement, then slipping off, which has Iomhar letting out a relieved sigh.
"Looks like that wasnae easy, what you talked about. Thought you could maybe use a rescue. Thank you, by the way, for helping."
