Hans nods at Baltheir's explanation, following the stance with his eyes and taking note of it. The feet just like that, and enough room to move around there. "Bracing on the defensive side. It's funny, I've never heard someone actually acknowledge doing it before. Then again, I don't think anyone at home was actually ever all that worried about defending someone else. MAYBE Lars. He used to be nice to me."
And now Lars is disappointed in him, and that's a mess he can't fix, isn't it? Hans shoves the thought back for now, since it IS his own fault, and continues watching Balthier though he raises an eyebrow slightly.
