If there was anything that Mikaela was becoming good at, it was getting herself used to totally strange situations. After that whole alien robot thing and now this? She was probably going to have to invest in some serious therapy before she was going to be able to go back to a normal, healthy life. As normal as could be expected by a girl who would probably be spending quality time with sentient beings from another planet in her free time. Sam must be infecting her brain or something because she was actually kinda missing those guys. Actually, she was missing everything that was her life right about now. She couldn't believe she missed boring ass Tranquility like she did.
Sam had excused himself into the bathroom after she had showered and she had seen signs indicating normal things were actually within Angel Grove. Like Malls. That probably had teenagers within it making unnecessary purchases and pretending that the food court served things worthy of being called a "lunch". It was the kind of boring that Mikaela could use right now. So she yelled to her roomie that she was going to check out the mall before going to scope it out.
When the giant cookie had found itself in her hand, Mikaela was sure there was some government conspiracy that was being covered up that made you have to have useless stuff like this. If they were covering up Sector Seven and Megatron, why not a drug that floated in the air and took over all of your senses, making it impossible to resist that tempting smell floating from the food court. Anything to stimulate the economy.
Pulling out her cell after she took to one of the tables near Jubilee, she wondered what kind of service to expect in Angel Grove. Munching on her cookie, she seemed intent on studying the contents displayed on her cell screen for a moment before she released a frustrated sigh and put it down. Useless. Looking up toward the teen, she smiled politely, but made no attempts to make a conversation. She wondered what the girl would think of her conspiracy theory.
