Begrudgingly, Mikaela went back to boring school, with its boring classes on a boring Monday in boring Tranquility. She had to admit, after being a victim to attempted murder by multiple alien robots -- in ways she didn't honestly want to remember, she could come to terms with boring for a little while. Just for a little while at least. Yeah, she could take at least a day's worth of boring before anymore excitement came up.
While it seemed to everyone she was the same Mikaela Banes, she had decided before arriving that wasn't the case. Just because she kept to her old "friends" and looked passed Sam Witwicky for Trent DeMarco, didn't mean anything. There was ... more than meets the eye, so to speak.
Her attentions for Trent didn't work in the way Sam expected them to. There was no need for an apology for the way she acted before she stomped off from him days earlier. She only intended to dis him in front of his friends to promise things were over for good. He could keep his Escalade and his nice arms. She was gonna work on those issues of hers that could prove her to be a superfreak of contradictions or something. Starting with ditching the baggage.
That was when she headed after the defeated boy who's ego had plummeted when she didn't exactly jump into his arms. Pushing out of the school's exit, she had managed to find him, just... not really like she had expected. At least he could be relieved in the fact he wasn't alone. At least, that was, if he managed to notice her from the tragic stare he had fixed on his face at this new predicament.
"Uh, Sam?"
She wasn't gonna find any answers standing here looking at him stupidly, but first she needed his attention.
