THREAD, ACTIVE. WHO: Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano WHAT: attempting figure their situation out WHEN: backdated to after this post WHERE: the warehouse district RATING: G, shouldn't get past that
He was used to going about things on his own, but completely alone was something that was going to take some adjusting to. Solitary missions or ones that were just him and Obi-Wan, him and Ahsoka, or him and Rex were things that Anakin was accustomed to doing. Such had become a normal part of fighting the war by now, but this, being stranded on a pre-hyperspace planet whose method of space travel was so painfully primitive it made him cringe was something that he was unprepared for. There was no Council here to contact, no Palpatine to confide in and ask advice of, and no wife to take comfort in or even a droid companion to help keep him in high spirits. He did, however, have his padawan and although he was angry that she was stuck here as well, he was glad to have her. Being alone was not something that Anakin Skywalker handled well.
The Force was stirring all around him, telling him a variety of things that didn't entirely make sense in his mind. This world felt as strange as it seemed and it's essence was churning with a rough, twisted and tainted sort of darkness that seemed new, yet old, and had appeared seemingly out of nowhere. He wasn't sure what to make of it, but knew for certain that it was far from being anything that could be labeled as Sith--but still dark. Which, of course, meant a potential enemy, but Anakin wasn't going to get involved in the troubles of this world if he could avoid doing so. They had their own war to fight and he was going to focus all of his efforts on getting himself and Ahsoka back to their galaxy.
Anakin felt her presence draw near before she was even close enough for him to see. The Jedi Knight turned, facing the direction he felt her coming from and waited.
