Adam let out a small startled cry that morphed into a chuckle. "Hey man," he said, slapping him on the chest, "way to come out of nowhere. Nearly scared me to death." He watched Tommy carefully, noticing the severe lack of locks and smile. "Dig the new do. Weird. But good." Adam was finding himself missing the old Tommy look. Then again, he was missing being 17 and at the height of his game.
Adam kicked out his feet trying to loosen up. Stiffness, he thought with a grimace, he'd make a joke about old age, but that seemed far too self-deprecating. He must've slept funky the night before, though. He was usually pretty limber. "Been a while, how you been?" Contrary to popular belief, not even Power Rangers were able to stay in touch all the time. Sure, he and his friends were close, and for the most part were able to keep tabs on each other, but they didn't talk every night. They missed things some times.
Even each other.
Adam couldn't remember the last time he talked to Rocky...
