Thread, Active WHO: Adam Park & Tommy Oliver. WHAT: Out for a jog. WHEN: 6 PM. WHERE: Angel Grove Park RATING: PG-13, to be safe.
Adam had stuck around Angel Grove for a long time after graduation. Sure, he went to college, and he even managed a little traveling from time to time, but all roads landed him back to Angel Grove. Maybe he hadn't been born here nor had he been raised her, but his heart and so much of who he was, was tied to this small California town, that he couldn't see himself living anywhere else.
His friends had come and gone, and many times, he was just in his dojo training kids, having to make friends with people who didn't understand what it was like to grow up with a secret identity and save the world on a school night when you had three papers and final exam the next day. Part of him enjoyed the secret. While it might be the new fad to not have a secret identity to these new kids, Adam was a firm believer in maintaining a separate life. As much as one could, anyway. Aside from possibly Tommy, the rest of the original rangers were able to live normal lives. Well. As normal as they managed to, anyway.
For a very long time, he thought his days as an active Ranger were over, which was fine - sometimes, life needed to move on and pave the way for new generations of heroes. Adam was fine with playing back up. Though, he did admit, he missed the rush of power and that feeling you got when you saved the world. Who didn't?
However, the time and reality displacement? That, ladies and gentleman, was fubar.
There wasn't that much that had changed in Angel Grove of course the course of ten years. Sure, the school had been renovated, and a lot of their favorite hang outs had changed, but it was still the happy town that got people moved to to raise a family. He liked that. He paused, panting, wiping the sweat from his brow. Going for a jog had seem like a good idea. Maybe he'd been wrong because now, all he did was feel too old to be here. Like it was wrong, somehow.
He also hadn't seen Tommy, which, was strange because Tommy was usually all over the place when it came to evil. It was like, 'Hey, Evil. Imma Kick Ur Ass.' But Tommy was nowhere to be seen. So, where was he? He frowned. Maybe he should've brought a bottle of water.
