Even if he did want to say something on the matter he wouldn't know where to begin. Bridge sank down into the sand to sit there with his toes wiggling out of the sand before he flopped on his back, and put his towel on his face as if to hide.
"I lied. " Bridge said once she finished her story about water. He wasn't lying about swimming, but about nothing happening. Something did happen he just didn't know how to react to it. It was confusing him. He didn't like being this way, being upset or angry...letting people see his true colors, so he tried to put on a mask. But being who he was, he wasn't good at lying. Or hiding things. Peeking out from under the towel up at her and giving a slightly pained look he frowned.
