I'm in a cell and they just brought my phone for me to make a call, but it's going to be morning before they process me. They came to the V.A funding meeting and arrested me right there when I had solid alibis. Sid from Korea tried to talk them out of it,and Nancy, the Army Nurse told them how I'd been around all evening, but they had my fingerprints.

Louie from 'Nam's got a lawyer daughter and he said that he'd give her a call while they were leading me out because the whole thing's so messed up. I'm kind of scared right now. I mean obviously I didn't do it and I've got alibis, but if someone's running around wearing my face and people get hurt.

I don't like it at all.

I don't know what's going on but i just...
If me being here proves I'm not responsible, I'm okay with it for now.
I just hope this person doesn't do anything worse.

I think if I can make bail, i'll be allowed to come home tomorrow.
If they decide they can't let me go, I'll get to see people while they wait on a trial but I don't think that'll happen.
I hope.
I wish I was with you too.

I love you a lot. Uh right now, keep your fingers crossed for me. And keep an eye on Tony.
Could you see if there are any reports of people seeing 'me' running around too? If we try to find this person, you could stop them before it's too late.

Maybe we could find out why they're doing this.

You don't even curse, there's no reason you should be arrested for this.

If you need me to come and bring you money, let me know.
I can't stand the thought of you being there, and not being able to do anything.
I know you can take care of yourself. But I'm still sick with worry.

Do you want me to try and keep him from finding out?
Clint seems to think he'd not take it so well, and I'm not sure he's wrong.
I don't want to set Tony's recovery back if I can help it.

No, there's not.
And I know you'll keep me safe no matter waht. It helps to know.

Knowing I have support out there helps. If you could maybe try to drum THAT up, it'd probably be good strategy...on the other hand. it COULD force our imposter underground. If anyone else "Does" anything, I'd keep an eye out. It might not be them.

I think that's a really good idea not to let Tony know.
He's already in so much pain. It's better not to have him worry now.

It's pretty mutual. Knowing you're out there makes me feel like I can get through anything and that means more than anything else.

I hope he knows what he's doing too. He's had a lot of successes at home, a couple here, mostly with serial killers and profiling and that sort of a thing. It's a situation I don't think anybody's ever really DEALT with before, honestly. Here's hoping they can figure out some kind of proof. I miss you.

Tony's...I wish I could find a way to spark the catharsis. It feels like a damned long time coming, if you ask me. I'll try to come up with something.
