Who: Scarlett and Lydia What: Day date between friends Where: Grey Dog Coffee When: Sunday, January 22nd Rating/Warnings: Low - Maybe Language and talks about idk.. men.
Scarlett had been working nearly non stop the first week, only taking a few scheduled breaks to visit Wolf in his office and have some much needed relaxation. Honestly, she could still hardly believe they were a thing; every time she saw his face she couldn't help the riot of butterflies in her stomach. She felt like a damn teenager, and yet, she wouldn't trade it for anything. Scarlett was also lucky they had such a solid foundation of friendship to build upon, and wondered if it would have worked out so well had they not. While part of her cursed herself for waiting so long to admit her feelings to him, the other, logical part of her, knew it had been the best course of action.
She needed to stop being so mushy though because she had a distinct feeling Lydia would roll her eyes and throw up on everything. Hell, Scarlett wouldn't even blame her.
And while it may have been Sunday, Scarlett still got up early to run to her office and complete some work before heading out to coffee. At least she had dressed casually! That was something, right.
She even made it five minutes before their designated time, making her way to the counter to order a strong coffee to clear her head and wait for Lydia to get there. She didn't have to wait long though, flashing the other woman a smile right as a cup was set down next to her. "It's on me, pick your poison," Scarlett told her with a wink.
