Chuckling, he shook his head and grinned at her. "If someone chucks their remote at you, will it just go through you? Or if they're triggered?" He didn't know how her powers worked in practice, but the theory of it was that she left her body in one place and went walking. He wanted to ask her about a dozen questions about what she could do, but he didn't know if now was the time or place.
He opened his mouth to argue that that was just semantics, but he thought better of it and snorted in return. "Okay, fair point." Their light changed, and they were in front of the restaurant less than a minute later. Holding the door open for her, Aaron gestured that she should go ahead.
Following her in, he smiled at the hostess when she asked how many were in the party. "Just us." She relaxed and took them to a table immediately. "We have three large groups," she explained, seating them at a small table near the window. "Thanks for being two." They sat. "Your server will be right with you." As he perused the menu, Aaron covered his mouth. "This place doesn't help my claim that I'm not a hipster, does it?"
