"Maybe, but I'd make good money," Summer joked back. She knew this game was a way for Charlie to ignore what was going through his mind, and she didn't mind helping with that for a few minutes. "I don't know, I'm pretty sure the extra room in your suite is bigger than my bedroom, so it might be worth the risk. After all, all you'd have to do is make sure to keep quiet or go elsewhere for the night so as to not disturb my beauty sleep." Summer was well aware of the fact that her best friend was not a fan of going home every night to an empty suite, and she really didn't mind it if he took her up on her offer to move in, even if the offer was phrased as a joke.
She chose to ignore the half-truth he gave her in favor of keeping the mood light-hearted for a few more minutes, just to give him a bit more of a reprieve before she let him know he wasn't going to get away his answer. She instead gave him one more poke in the side before laughing. "I give! I give! No more, I promise." She smiled as she looked at him for a bit, before becoming serious again. "What's going on in that head of yours, Charlie? And no half-truths this time, please."
