"Every half hour, huh? I think I'd wear you out real quick, and we wouldn't want that." It was a volley of sarcasm going back and forth, a game that Charles was particularly good at. Something that helped keep himself away from his own thoughts. "Yes, all your fancy habits. I'm sure you'd eat more, but sleep less. I don't think the walls are sound proof at all, but I couldn't tell you." His shoulders lifted and fell for a lazy shrug, the smirk on his lips never wavering.
But why did you go off on Jacqueline? He paused for a moment to considered his next choice of words. His tongue slipped out from between his lips to casually lick his bottom lip as he thought. "Her name was on it too. She signed, and funded it." It was the truth, but only part of the truth. "That's it." Charles offered Summer another lazy, nonchalant shrug of his shoulders.
