Virgin Post
Who: Kitty et that Emery boy What: Kitty moving into his new dorm room Where: The dorm room shared with Emery the witch and Daniel the vamp Why: Virgin post! When: Late afternoon? Rating: TBC Status: Incomplete.
Kitty slunk down the hallway of his new home, a pathetically limp bag on his shoulder, jeans too big for his ankles, tshirt to long for his arms, sleeveless hoodie that fit but provided no warmth at all, everything on him second hand bar his cherished, trashed over sneakers with the trailing rainbow laces. And he'd been told even theywould have to go. Honestly, if Kitty wasn't wearing those shoes then he was wearing socks or going barefoot.
Only no, this wasn't the case at all.
He shifted uncomfortably as if his bag had done something personal to him, although his sentiments towards it's contents were the same as if it had. It had some spare notebooks, pens, pencils, usual 'Back To School' items that inevitably ended up down some crack in a floorboard where no crack existed before; Kitty was under the impression that such things would be provided for him, but oh well.
These items nestled in with some pairs of khaki trousers, v-neck sweaters, white shirts, a tie and various other items of clothing all wrapped carefully, ironed crisp enough to cut a slice of bread and resting on a pair of leather shoes which nestled in the bottom of the bag (and would remain that way forever if Kitty had anything to do about it).
He kept close to the wall, his body language saying 'I fear that I'm about to be attacked by a low-flying iron bar', his constant looks over his shoulder enough to have given any normal person a crick in the neck by now. And there was the punchline.
Kitty found the door to his room and rummaged in his jeans pockets for the key, finding it with relative ease and sliding the thing home, hearing the click-click of the lock NOT disengaging because it was already unlocked. He withdrew the useless piece of metal and gingerly pushed the door open; he studied his surroundings before he came in, picking up on the position of the beds, furniture, the boxes where someone was obviously moving out and the blue-eyed blond who was the only other person taking up residence in the place.
He watched with wary dark eyes and paused where he stood.
