Who: Alecto Carrow & Daniel Wilkes
When: Friday night
Where: Fancy restaurant in London
What: Danny asked Ally out on a date. Yes, a real date!
Rating: PG-13
Status: Completed log
Danny was dressed in his finest for the evening with his hair slicked back and face cleanly shaven for the occasion. He looked dangerously debonair in his clothes and stood out from most of the other men, not because of his attire, but because of his height. He idly stood at the bar and had ordered himself a drink as he waited for his date to arrive. The restaurant itself was quite the place. It was one of the best that only the wealthy could afford and by reservation only of course.
While Danny patiently waited alone at the very end of the bar, he periodically checked his watch then scanned the wide open of the restaurant. He laughed softly every time a woman glanced his way and either gave him a sexy wink, seductive smile or did some sort of trick with her tongue. None of them struck his interest and so he kept looking for that one woman who would be able to catch his eye.
Alecto took her time getting ready this evening. The dress she received in the mail was quite lovely, and Danny did an excellent job in guessing her size. It fit well, and made her look good. She didn't dress up too much, but tonight she wanted to look her best for Danny. He seemed rather intent on making this a real date, and she wasn't going to begrudge him that. When she was finally satisfied with her hair, she threw a shawl over her shoulders, slipped on her heels, and apparated to the restaurant coordinates.
As she walked through the restaurant doors at five minutes to seven, she quickly peeked into the main dining area, looking for him at the table. When she didn't see him, she turned her attention to the hostess, giving her Danny's name. The hostess pointed her to the bar, and Alecto sauntered over, cranning her neck to see everyone. Finally, she found him sitting at the back of the bar looking quite gorgeous. Oh Merlin she was a lucky woman. Grinning broadly, she made her way over to him, and laid a hand on his arm. "Well hello, lover," she whispered deeply.
Danny had just brought his glass to his lips when he felt the gentle touch of a woman's hand upon his arm then heard the tantalizing whispers of a familiar voice. He paused a moment before finishing off the rest of his drink then set the glass down. When he finally turned his head to look at Alecto, his heart skipped a beat and he had to catch himself on the bar as he took in the site of her. She made that dress as her body seemed to fill it quite nicely. Slowly his eyes scanned the length of her, admiring her gorgeous legs, the gentle curves of her hips, the soft fullness of her breasts and stopped once he reached her beautiful face. He did his best to hold his composure and merely offered her a small devilish grin.
"Well hello indeed," he replied in a low and smooth tone. "Fancy meeting you here."
Alecto bit her lip and smiled at his reaction. His eyes rolling over her body would never ever get old. "Oh yes, of course. Chance meeting this is," she quipped with a wink. She ran a hand through her hair as she looked around at the restaurant. This was quite the place, and no one had ever taken her out to dinner at such a fine establishment. Of course she had attended the occasional society function, but never had she been out on a date with a man at such a place. "This is a far cry from our first date in Hogsmede, don't you think," she mused. "So, are we having a drink at the bar first, or were you just waiting for me, love?"
Danny's handsome smile beamed from ear to ear and he simply nodded as he recalled that date with Ally in Hogsmede. "Hogsmede was the best I could do at sixteen," he joked as he stood up from the bar to get a better look of his fiance. His eyes made another sweep of her tight little figure and he suddenly took her hand into his, raised it up to his lips and softly kissed the back of it as his eyes remained locked on hers. "You look amazing," he said in that same low and smooth tone like before. Already his eyes had grown darker with desire for her. "Sit," he told, waving a hand dismissively towards the chair. "It would not be very proper of me not to offer you a drink."
At this point, all the women who had attempted to interest Danny were now watching him with Ally; all of them looking rather vindictive as they sat there green with envy at Alecto's luck.
Alecto laughed, and gave a brief curtsy when he kissed her hand. "Thank you. And I would love a drink," she said as she took a seat. She beamed up at him, just adoring his every feature. He was certainly gorgeous, and Alecto was still not quite sure how she landed him. Why she refused him she would never know. The insecure part of her got the better of her that night, and she was never going to let it speak up again.
She was also very aware of all the eyes on her man, and by extension, herself. A smug look crossed her face as she leaned into him and placed a brief kiss on his cheek. "So what are you drinking?"
Danny smiled when Ally kissed him so sweetly as she did and simply placed a hand onto her back as he peaked down into his empty glass. "It was a scotch," he answered as he nodded towards the bartender to get his attention. "I see the dress fits you quite well," he said as he sat back down into his seat, waiting on the bartender. Automatically he placed a hand upon her leg just above her knee and gave it a gentle squeeze. When the bartender finally arrived, Danny simply said, "another for me." He then looked to Alecto and asked, "what would you like?"
"Yes, it does," she answered him. "You did well picking the size," she said as she smoothed the dress down her torso. Her eyes closed for a brief moment when he touched her. It was the simple touches like these that started defining them as a couple. And the fact that they were actually out on a date. Leave it to them to do everything backwards, like going out on their first real date a week before getting married.
His hand on her knee brought her back to the present. "Same," she blurted out quite quickly, before returning her attention to Danny. "So what gave you this idea?"
"I figured my decision could go either one of two ways... I could either be safe and choose a size that might have been a bit too large. But with a woman, picking something too big is not exactly the safest of ideas," he said as he gave the bartender a curt nod when he returned with the drinks. "Or I could get something smaller and hope that it fits. Then again I've also learned that women might see even that as a sign that perhaps they should lose some weight. The sales girl had a similar figure to yours, so I had her try it on," he was obviously joking and it showed as he was unable to contain a smile from spreading across his features.
Danny squeezed her leg again as he pondered the question for a moment; his expression suddenly serious. "I wanted to show you a proper evening," he replied before taking a sip of his drink. "You deserve more than the random one night visits I used to make and a sudden proposal. It was terribly unfair to you." That was when his mind reverted to his hand that rested upon her leg. He would not move up any further than this, but did not want to stop touching her. So, he simply began to thumb the outside of her knee.
Alecto snorted into her scotch. “I bet you were quite the sight in a dress shop,” she said with a giggle. She found it very endearing that he put this much thought into buying her the perfect dress to wear for their first date in almost ten years. She was even more impressed by the simple fact that he wanted to do something proper for her, even though their entire relationship thus far had been an exercise in impropriety. She cocked her head to the side, and peered at him, questioningly. “No… It’s just…. It’s how we were. Neither one of us could be tamed at school. We did what we wanted, when we wanted, and with who we wanted. And we stayed like that, both of us too scared to change the status quo.” She took a sip of scotch, welcoming the burn as it went down. “It wasn’t unfair; it just took us ten years to figure out what we mean to each other, that’s all.” She brought her hand up to his cheek, and lightly caressed it with her thumb as she looked him in the eyes. “What matters isn’t how we got here, just that we are here. Besides, we have the rest of our lives to worry about doing things properly.”
Danny gave Ally a warm smile then reached up and took her hand into his own. With eyes gazing deeply into hers, he kissed her fingers softly then placed his hand back onto her leg. "Perhaps," he said before taking a sip of his drink. He began to recall all the times he had taken other women out on dates, showing them quite the proper evening before ending up naked in his bed with them. In those instances, the proper preceded the improper and that was never how it went with Ally. "I've been on plenty of these," he reluctantly to her. "Before ending the night at my place. And I only now realized that I never showed you that. It was straight forward every time." He took another large sip of his dink and swallowed hard as the warm liquid burned on the way down. "You are right. We never did things properly, but the point is, I could have with you and I didn't."
Alecto shook her head quickly, and grabbed his face in her hands. "Hey, it's ok," she said as she leaned in and kissed lips briefly. She rubbed the backs of her fingers lightly on his cheeks before pulling away. "I never cared about all that, all this," she said with a dismissive wave and another sip of scotch. "Besides, that was all a show with you and other girls. The point of showing them a proper night was to get them into bed. But with me... well, we never lied to each other, not really." Alecto paused and recalled other 'proper' dates she'd been on with other men. She was always shown dinner, and at the end of the night, most expected sex from her. It never bothered her, not really. But she preferred when men didn't try to make themselves seem more honest then they were. She gave him a smile and said, "I'll take straightforward over games and show any day."
Danny was taken by surprise when Ally cupped his face with her delicate hands then kissed him briefly. He barely had time to react as he listened to everything she had to say. "I know that," he finally spoke up when she had finished talking. "But this is something I wish I had done because it is still part of my lifestyle, the glitz, the glamor, the show. I was lucky enough to grow up financially well-off and to everyone's disbelief, I do posses the proper stature of someone at my level. I just don't use it as often as I should." He paused a moment as his eyes darted back and forth between hers, admiring her patience with him at the current moment. "I just want to give these few experiences."
Alecto shrugged. "I get that, I do. And thank you." She swirled her drink around a bit before continuing. "See, I didn't grow up with this and frankly, it's a lot to get used to." She adored Danny, she always had. But it was taking her a while to grasp the fact that she was marrying not only Danny, but a whole new lifestyle. While it was something she had secretly always wanted, it intimidated her at the same time. Which was part of the reason she insisted on a small wedding. She leaned in closer to him, and said, "But you know I'd marry you even without all this."
Danny could understand how all of this may be overwhelming for Ally. He would slowly wean her into it and tonight would be a nice way to start. Although, he was sure she would pick up on everything soon enough. He lifted his glass to his lips and easily finished off the drink. Another one of those would not be ideal for the evening.
"You say that now," he teased, giving her a playful wink. "But I know you would," he quickly added. Just then the bartender returned and asked, "another sir?" Danny simply shook his head and replied, "we'll having dinner, thank you." Before the bartender turned to leave, he gave Alecto a flirtatious smile while his eyes made a sweep of her chest. Danny was not stupid -- he caught that. Such gestures amused Danny, knowing full well that his date was indeed quite attractive. However, he would not tolerate the disrespect it showed not only him, but mostly Alecto. Without a second thought, Danny jumped up, leaned over the bar, grabbed the other man by the shirt and violently jerked him closer -- it all happened so fast. "You look at her like that again and I will personally damage your face something awful that your own mother won't be able to recognize you nor will you know what it's like to speak or see ever again," he hissed in a low growl with gritted teeth. When he was finished, he let go of the man and simply straightened out his robes. "Ready for dinner then?" He asked Alecto as if nothing had happened.
Alecto smiled at him as he told the bartender that they were having dinner. She wasn't paying attention to the man and started to stand up when Danny suddenly lunged at him. She yelped in surprise then launched herself at Danny. "Hey! Hey!" she shouted over him as he spoke, grabbing at his arms, but Danny didn't seem to hear her. When he finally let the bartender go, she stared at him for a minute before crossing her arms and pursing her lips in a half grin. Alright, so she was flattered; violence didn't exactly scare the girl. But this display was rather excessive of him. Her grin turned into an unintentional smile. "Now was that necessary?" she asked, inwardly loving the fact that he got so jealous over a look. "And yes, I do believe we are ready for dinner."
Danny noted the grin and smiled in return. He knew she liked what he had done. Then her grin molded into a full smile to match his own. "Yes, it was," he answered and gave a small laugh. He held out his arm for her then led her into the dining room. "He should not have looked at you in that manner. Not to mention, I was sitting right next to you..." The hostess took them to their table where Danny pulled out Alecto's chair so that she could sit down. "Besides, I'm sure you enjoyed that more than I did," he teased.
Alecto took his arm and went with him in the dining room. "Well, at least you didn't hurt the poor bastard," she said, chuckling lightly. Her eyebrow raised when he pulled the chair out, but she sat down with a smile plastered on her face. "I did not enjoy that in the least," she lied with a smirk on her face. She waited for him to sit before glancing at the menu. Usually the first thing Alecto did at a restaurant was scan the menu, paying particular attention to the prices. This menu, however, did not print the prices. She bit her lip for a second, and stared at the menu again. Alecto was well aware that Danny was paying for everything, but she still didn't want to get something too expensive. Suddenly, she shook her head. This was something else she'd have to get used to. "So, what's good here," she asked, seeking some sort of lead from him.
Danny gave Ally a look, but was unable to hold it for long as he started to laugh as he sat himself down. "You are a dirty liar, Carrow..." he teased, smiling to her. The waiter arrived immediately, ready to take their drink order. Without missing a beat Danny told the young man, "a bottle of chiraz." After the waiter disappeared, Danny picked up his menu and as he glanced across the table, he noted Ally's reaction to her menu. "The steak here is phenomenal," he replied. "Although I'm biased because you know how much I like beef in general. The fish here is actually great," he added, putting his menu back down again deciding that he would in fact get the steak. "If you do get the fish, I'll order a bottle of white to go with it," he told her rather nonchalantly.
Alecto nodded and grinned back up at him. "Steak sounds great," she said and right as she did, the waiter returned with the wine and poured them each a glass. She let him order for them both, and once the waiter left, Alecto reached for her glass and held it up for a toast. "To doing things properly," she said with a smirk. She clinked her glass with his and took a quick sip. As she put her glass down, she said, "So... is everything on your end of the whole wedding planning planning under control?"
"Sometimes," Danny added to the toast as he clinked his glass with hers. He took a sip of his wine and savored the smooth taste as it rushed over his tongue. Just as he set his glass down he jerked his head up to look at Alecto. "I was supposed to plan something?" He asked, sounding a bit confused. As far as he knew, women usually did that stuff, not men. In all honesty, he assumed that all he had to do was show up. "Did you ask me to?" Now he was worried that perhaps he'd forgotten something.
Alecto sighed and looked at him with amusement. "Tuxes, Danny," she said as she leaned forward in her chair. "I thought that was rather obvious, so no, I didn't mention it." She let out a short laugh. "But no, I didn't mean any planning for the actual wedding. Our mothers have really been taking the reigns for that one. Your mom is taking care of food and music, and my mom is doing the flowers, obviously." The wedding planning had been rather easy so far, since it was so small. Thank Merlin for that. The only thing she had really had to worry about was her dress, since her and Danny reserved the venue. "Oh, and wedding bands. We should do on Monday," she added finally. "But please tell me you at least got tuxes for you, Andrew, and Amycus?"
Tuxes! Of course he did! "Oh yeah," Danny said with a wave of his hand as he leaned back in his chair. "That has long since been done. Andrew, Amycus and myself all went out together. I'm surprised Amycus hadn't told you," he added as he leaned forward and snatched a piece of fresh bread that the waiter just set on the table. He picked up the butter knife and proceded to smear a bit of it onto his slice. "Monday is fine," he responded in regards to Ally's statement about the wedding bands. It took him no time at all to eat the piece of bread that he had taken then had another sip of his wine to wash it down. "Has my mother been civil with you at least?"
Alecto let out a sigh of relief. "Oh good," she said, and then raised an eyebrow as she reached for the bread and butter. "Well, I haven't been home much, and I've spent most of this week packing the flat. Besides, you know Amycus can be a flake sometimes," she added with a dismissive wave of her butter knife. She nodded slightly as she ate a piece, and took a sip of wine before answering him. "Your mother has been just fine," she said cooly. Alecto had owled her, after much prodding from Danny, asking for help with the planning. Danny seemed to think that if Alecto asked for her help, it would endear her to his mother. Well, it was slow going. His mother had of course responded and said that she would help, but her responses always seemed a bit terse. Alecto of course hadn't expected anything different. It was quite a shock for the woman, meeting her son's third tier fiance and planning a wedding all in the same month. So Alecto didn't take it too personally, she just hoped that the woman would eventually grow to like her. At least his father seemed to warm up to her. "But really, I don't think we have much more to do, which is a relief," she said as she took a sip of wine. "Oh, and my parents, Amycus, and I are getting to Italy Friday evening, to make sure everything's in place, and my grandparents are showing up Saturday morning. When were you planning on getting there?"
Danny knew how his mother felt about Ally. By asking Ally to owl his mother for some help with planning the wedding, he hoped that the excitement of a wedding and having a hand in it would calm her nerves and warm up to his bride-to-be. Besides, his mother had two boys and judging by his younger brother's experience with women, this may be her only chance at wedding day planning bliss. "Just fine," he echoed. It didn't tell him a whole lot, but he could only imagine the struggle Ally might be having.
"I... Haven't figured that bit out yet," he replied honestly, not looking at her as he answered. That was something he would need to speak to his parents about, although he was sure his mother had everything set for them. "I do know that my grandparents will be arriving the day of the wedding, in the morning, like yours."
"Alright, but you have a week to figure it out," she said, as she took another sip of wine. At that moment, their food came out. Danny was right, the steak was amazing. They ate quickly, and the conversation stuck mainly to wedding plans, the honeymoon, and plans for moving in together that would happen when they got back. Alecto had spent the week packing her stuff, not that she had much stuff, but it was still a daunting task. They only spoke of this sort of thing, and both made a point to not talk about their work with the Death Eaters. With everything that was going on lately, they both thought it best to leave that for another time and focus on each other, even if it was just for this one evening. Whey they finished with dinner, they of course had dessert, which was an amazing creme brulee. By the end of dinner, Alecto was sufficiently stuffed. "That was amazing, Danny. Thank you," she said with a genuine smile.
Danny would do anything to see Ally smile like that. If he could, he would give her the world, but he didn't have that much money. After the waiter dropped off the check, Danny immediately picked it up, gave it a quick glance over then pulled out the correct amount of galleons needed and placed them at the edge of the table with the bill. "No need to thank me," he finally said as he flashed her a smile and reached across the table to take her hand into his. He teased the back of her hand with his thumb, slowly circling it round and round, just barely grazing the skin. His eyes scanned her face, admiring each beautiful detail of it. He wanted to touch more than just her hand. He wanted to push things a little further in this restaurant, but he refrained from doing so. Before he left his flat, he vowed that he would not end this evening as they always had. Tonight was supposed to be a traditional dinner date. "C'mon..." he said as he nodded his head to the side to signal that they should go. The night was still young, so he didn't even have the excuse that it was late. He didn't have a clue what to say or where to take her at this point. So, he got up from the table and held his arm out for her.
Alecto tried to look like she wasn't watching Danny as he paid the bill, but her eyes grew wide at the small stack of galleons he left on the edge of the table. She blinked quickly, and busied herself by finishing off her last sip of wine. When he took her hand, she smiled again, and stared at him. He was giving her so much, more than any man had ever spent on her. Merlin she loved him, and wanted him so badly, like she always did. And in just a week, he'd be hers forever. She nodded and simply said, "Alright," as he signaled for them to go. With a huge smile, she stood and took his arm. "This has been a wonderful date, love."
"I'm glad that you are having a good time," he said as that handsome smile easily swept across his lips. Danny led Ally to the restaurant entrance where he did not need to open the door for her as the doorman did it for them. When they stepped outside, the darkness and had finally settled and the only sources of light were the moon and a lonely lantern every several feet. He figured they could at least take a walk together for a bit before he took her home. Maybe he was baiting himself; setting himself up for what was the inevitable. "If you want, I could start moving your things into my flat," he offered, trying to get his mind of her and that dress. When he glanced down at her, his height in contrast to hers gave him a perfect view to peak down the front of her dress. Thank you, he thought to himself. He was unable to look away, admiring her and how stunning she made that dress look. This was not helping at all. He quickly turned looked back up again.
As they stepped outside, she gave a brief shudder in the cold and pulled her shawl more tightly over herself. It was a bit chilly outside, but that just meant that fall was here. She loved the fall. She looked up at Danny just in time to see him staring down at her body. She openly smirked. "Didn't someone wind up almost dead for doing that exact same thing?" she teased. She leaned into his arm and laughed. "Yes, that would be great," she added after catching her breath from laughing. "It would help a lot. Less stuff we have to do when we get back from the honeymoon." She gazed back up at him, and stood up on her tip-toes to give him a quick kiss.
Danny laughed along with her and nodded. He had felt her shudder and immediately stopped dead in his tracks. As she leaned up to kiss him, he pulled off his robe and slung it around Ally's shoulders. Still clutching the garment, he tugged her closer so that he could continue kissing her. He gradually deepened the kiss, smoothing his lips over hers soft and slow. Reluctantly he pulled away, playfully nipping at her bottom lip as he broke the kiss and smiled. "Yes, someone almost did wind up dead. But you are mine, baby..." he said in a low and silky tone. In the back of his mind he knew he needed to stop himself, he had to stop before this got out of hand. Just as he had before, he quickly changed the subject. "We have all night if you want me to move some of your things now."
Alecto deepened the kiss as he threw his robe over her, grateful for the sudden warmth. She gave an almost imperceptible little whine when he broke the kiss. "And you are mine," she answered back. She wanted to get lost in him after that amazing date. However, she looked at him with a raised eyebrow when he said that all night to move some of her things. "Uh... yes we do have all night to move stuff," she said pointedly. She noticed that he seemed to be avoiding any talk of sex or any lingering physical contact with her. Alecto was puzzled, but she wasn't concerned. Not yet, at least. So she grabbed his arm and started leading him towards her flat. "Let's walk there," she said as she huddled into him.
Danny noted the confused expression on her face, he merely shrugged it off and continued walking with her when she grabbed his arm. "It's still early," he justified. "So we can start bringing things over," he added shortly after. As they kept walking the number of people around them began to dwindle, having gone further away from the much busier area and entering a more desolate one. The cobble stoned street was still well lit by both the moon and the occasional lantern, but they seemed to be more alone than before. An awkward silence had fallen between and Danny tried his best not to get caught up in looking at her. He also tried to ignore the fact that they had every opportunity of taking advantage of the dark narrow allies that popped up every now and again. No one is around to catch us. he thought to himself, but immediately pushed the thought from his mind. "Are you warm enough?" He asked her out of concern as he glanced down to her. The light of the moon cascaded over her face and seemed to bring out a soft gleam in her eyes. His gaze panned lower, admiring her lips that looked so welcoming.
Alecto did her best to snuggle up to him as they walked, the breeze chilling her a bit but at the same time, it felt refreshing. "Yes, baby. I'm warm enough," she answered. Her brain was doing the same quick math his was. There were hardly any people around, and he could easily throw her up against a wall in one of a number of dark alleyways. And they didn't need to be scared of anyone in a dark alley, since they were the people one should be scared of meeting. "Though," she started, in a low voice, "I could stand to be a bit warmer." She looked up at him, noting how amazing he looked. He was a beautiful man. She had a beautiful fiance who couldn't be her husband soon enough. It was such a cumbersome word, 'fiance,' and Alecto didn't like it, not really. She usually wasn't one for defining things, but she wanted there to be a strict definition that he was hers. And hers alone. There was a glint in her eye, and she wanted to make mischief suddenly.
That had nearly done it for him. Danny closed his eyes for a brief moment and swallowed hard as he continued walking. "Go on..." he said instinctively without thinking. With her arm linked around his, he simply buried his hands into his pockets and clenched them into tight fists. It was as though they shared one mind because he knew exactly what she was hinting at. He could definitely get her warm -- hot even. A quick fuck down one of these alleyways ought to raise her body temperature. He suddenly made the mistake of looking down at her and catching the glint her eye. She wanted him just as bad as he wanted her. Quickly he turned away and hung his head so that he was watching the ground pass beneath his feet as he kept walking. He laughed softly in an effort to control himself, but he could feel his heart beating faster and a tingle of excitement beginning to flare up from within the pit of his stomach. Bloody hell he felt like he was sixteen again.
Alecto let out a cackle when he laughed softly. Mother of Merlin, the man was actually becoming nervous! She had to admit, she found his nerves extremely endearing. But it puzzled her. Surely after all this time, he wasn't nervous around her. Then it hit her, like a ton of bricks. He was trying to behave himself and do things properly this evening. "Oh!" she suddenly breathed, as her hand flew to her mouth. She bit her lip, trying her best not to giggle. And then she felt slightly guilty. She was not making things easy on him. Her arms were still clutching his, and she gave him a brief kiss on his arm. "You're being such a gentleman, Danny. So I'll be good too," she said.
When Ally had breathed out so audibly like that Danny knew that she had finally figured it out. He was happy for that as he didn't want to verbally tell her why he was ignoring her advances. At that he laughed again, this time louder than before and he pulled his free hand from his pocket and rubbed at his forehead generously. "Thanks," he muttered feeling like that young adolescent who barely knew a thing about girls and was easily excited by them. "I'm struggling," he admitted, still refusing to look at her. The images began to flash through is mind -- Ally up against a wall, her head leaning back moaning and crying out his name. "How much farther?" He blurted out, sounding a bit desperate.
"We're almost there," she said with a laugh. Now that he mentioned it, she could tell that he was struggling. All his little ticks, his subject changes, it all fit now. She was insanely tempted to force him into a dark alley and start ripping his clothes off, testing how badly he wanted to behave. But she realized that he was trying to show her a proper evening, and for that simple fact, she behaved. He wasn't avoiding her because he didn't want her; he was trying to be respectful, to make up for all those times when he didn't show her a proper night in this one evening. She wasn't going to take that from him. Her building was in sight, and she nodded up towards it. "Right here, love."
Danny was never so happy to see her building before. It meant that he could start using this energy for other means -- moving boxes and possibly helping her pack up even more stuff. He was not dressed for doing such work, but he could change once he arrived at his flat with the first box. In the meantime, Ally would need to get out of that dress before he lost his mind completely. Although he knew the way inside, he let Ally lead him in and to her flat. "What's ready to go?" He asked as he nearly charged into the room and glanced around the place while he loosened his tie and unbuttoned the first few buttons of his shirt.
Alecto let out another imperceptible whine as he unbuttoned his shirt. Ok, this was going to be harder than she thought. She immediately started biting her fingernails and looked around the room nervously. To be honest, there wasn't enough packed yet, and only a few boxes were spread out on the floor. She had spent more of this week packing for the wedding and honeymoon. Suddenly, she realized that he either needed to fuck her immediately or go home. "Um... look. Maybe we should call it a night, you know? I'm still nowhere near finished packing, and.... " she trailed off, and looked at him with the slightly pained expression of a little child who's toy has just been taken away.
Danny was not paying attention to Ally when he spotted the three boxes across the room. He unbuttoned the cuffs of his shirt then rolled up his sleeves just to his elbows. "I can start with these. They look ready to go," he said as he crossed the room. He was just about to get down and pick up one of the boxes when he heard her say that they should call it a night. "What?" He asked as he turned on a heel to look at her. And there she stood, the dress hugged her figure perfectly as it showed off the sexy curves of her body with his robe draped around her delicate shoulders to shield her from the cold. Though there was something wrong with this picture and it was the pained expression on her face. By that look alone he knew. "Right..." he managed to say, but his mind was telling him to take her and his body was aching to feel her. But he did not move.
Alecto breathed a small sigh of relief when he got her meaning. She walked over to him slowly, and linked her arm in his. Without making any more advances she steered him to the door and let out a laugh. It was like they were hormonal teenagers again, too scared to look at each other. She took off his robes and handed them back to him as she opened the door. As she leaned against it, she looked up at him. "At least give me a goodnight kiss..."
Danny waited for Ally, watching her walk towards him. He was unable to take his eyes off of her as she approached, his eyes finally locking on hers and drifting nowhere else on her body. He let her take his arm then lead him to the door where once she opened it, he stood directly in the frame. Taking his robe from her, he folded it over his forearm then offered Ally a warm smile. "Of course," he said as he reached out to cup her face with his hand. After a short pause, he slipped two fingers beneath her chin then leaned in and softly kissed her. The kiss was long and slow, steadily deepening it, slipping his tongue into her mouth to gently push against hers. Her lips were warm and inviting, just as he had imagine them to be all evening and the taste of her mouth made him long for more. But he knew that he should stop. He unwillingly broke the kiss and left his lips to just barely touch hers when he whispered, "I love you." After a few lingering moments, he pulled back completely and smiled handsomely from ear to ear. "Pack up everything, yeah? And I'll be by during the week to pick it up." With that, he backed away even further, gave her a wink and finally apparated with a quick pop.
Alecto's eyes closed the second his hands cupped her face. As he kissed her, she felt herself melting into him. Her hand was still clutching the doorknob as she leaned into him. He felt absolutely perfect, which made her want him even more. Then she thought of how much sweeter their wedding night would be after being so well behaved tonight and for the rest of the week. His lips were still against hers as he told her he loved her, and answered him, still just as close. "I love you too," she whispered back. She leaned against the door as he backed away, and gave him a wink. "Yeah, I'll finish up this week. And don't forget about Monday," she called before he apparated away. With a sigh and a smile, she shut the door and dragged herself into the living room, throwing herself down on the couch. The bedroom door opened, and she saw her brother's face pop out and smirk at her. "Well that was short," he said before ducking back in to hide from the pillow that had just been hurled at his face. Alecto fell back on the couch with a laugh. Mother of Merlin she couldn't wait until next week.
