Katja Cherkov, Kat to some, wandered into the greasy spoon. What was it about junkies and potheads that made them want to eat at places like this? It made her wonder. Dressed to hit the clubs after her deal, Katja was looking forward to seeing Babes in Toyland at CBGBs later that night.

However, first, she had some things to take care of. She needed money and she had some pot and a bit of blow that she needed to get out of her jacket pocket. She hated dealing in such public places, but sometimes she needed to do just that.

In a pair of combat boots, torn jeans and a Nirvana t-shirt that clung to her, Katja wandered into the diner and picked a table. Her blonde hair hung loose and she wore heavy black eye makeup.

Sitting down, she absently looked at the menu as she waited for some customers of her hers that she really didn't like.
