Who: Katie Bell and Lisa Turpin What: A chance meeting between Hogwart’s Alumni. When: 12 years after book 7 Where: Owner’s Box, Harpy’s Quidditch Pitch Rating: PG-13 for now
Katie Bell was happy. They had just won their season opening game, in a huge blow out, against the Chudley Cannons in front of a sell out crowd at their home pitch. She had been nervous, very nervous, going into it. This had been her first game as Team Captain and she was afraid that things would go badly. It seemed she had nothing to be worried about.
Gweong Jones had retired at the end of their last season and Katie had taken up the mantle as Captain. She was one of the oldest girls on the team, now in her early 30s, and was seemingly at the height of her career. She was old enough to be respected for her experience, but not old enough for people to start talking about her being past her prime.
Katie had always loved the after parties held by the team’s owner. Now, with the gold star over the heart of her warm up jacket, Katie strode in like she was a queen. It still amused her that, unlike at Hogwarts, she had countless sets of clothes that marked her as a professional Quidditch player and a member of the Harpies.
The team, led by Katie, entered to a round of hearty applause and cheers. Smiling, she parted with her team members and made her way to the bar. Her life was perfect. She was well off financially, doing well with her team and often got a lot of female attention. Though, the only downside was, she hadn’t had anything serious in a long time…
Ordering a drink, Kaite took it and turned to look at the crowd of fans. Along with her bright red warm up, she wore a Harpies t-shirt, that was snug and showed off her toned body and a pair of jeans instead of the rest of the warm-up suit. Her blonde hair hung down and wavy as she done it before leaving the locker room.
